One of the best curry's iv ever had, Love the nan bread, chips are just basic but nice. I'm not a rice lover so never order any. Will be back again great staff.
Selected a variety of dishes for a party of four. Order placed online and was ready for collection at agreed time. Dishes and sides were all very good. One dish that was supposed to be a korma, definitely was not, as it was very spicy. Apart from that mistake, all the food was excellent, and otherwise would have been given 5 stars. Recommended.
This is my local curry house and every dish I've had, from mild curries to the spicy naga, has been wonderful. As for appetizers, the pakora breading is absolutely amazing and the naans are always fresh. Sit-in or takeaway, Shimla is always very good and the service is very polite and prompt!
Not only some of the best food in our trip, best Indian food I think I've ever had. Don't second guess Shimla if you are looking for authentic Indian food!
I am wondering if under new management since last there. Food tasty as usual , minor notice inconsistencies in plating, 3 with just lettuce, other starter with tomato and lemon slice. Main courses tasty, nicely served, portions a little smaller than last visit. But totally enjoyable Only negative comment would be that the restraunt is in need of redecoration throughout, would make for a much nicer aesthetic , a lick of paint and new flooring , a wee upgrade. But as mentioned good tasting food at reasonable price. And service always good, attentive polite. Thank you Shimla for another lovely meal. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options on menu and gluten free too. Kid-friendliness: Good menu, child's choices Parking: Lycky to get parking space beside restaurant. Also Parking across road, metered I think
We stopped here during our nc500 trip and so glad we did! 100% recommend. All the dishes were so fresh and flavours were amazing. We felt really welcome here and Mr. Sam was brilliant.
Ok food. But very little salt. Not something you expect from a south Asian restaurant. Mutton Biryani was really good, however.

100% would recommend. One of the best Indian meals we've ever had. The flavours were beautiful, chicken and lamb were very tender. The level of spicing was spot on. A must try if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed.
Ali and his dad look like twins, amazing service, he made me meet his wee son, great food, try that Naga chicken with chips, to die for. They do great delivery I came all the way from London just to try this, after my Ben Nevis hike, this was a great way to end the day.
