We had lunch here on Friday 21.10.22. The food was excellent but the service was outstanding. Jack was particularly very friendly and attentive. We have two young children and they made us feel so welcome, supplying colouring crayons and even crocheted teacups and dolls to play with. We made such a racket and a mess and they were so understanding about it. We will definitely be back and couldn't recommend this tea room more highly!
We were given a warm welcome at the door and only a few minutes wait to be seated. Lovely place, we had cakes and hot drinks all were great. Staff were very organised, cheery and attentive. Highly recommended.
Quirky little tea room, I came in here on a cold and wet day here in wales to grab a hot drink and warm up, there was a beef stew on the specials menu and it was not a disappointment it was delicious warming, wholesome and a perfect nourishing dish on a cold day! Thank you to the wonderful, friendly staff who made me feel very welcome, a must visit if you are in Beaumaris, the tea is served in a tea pot and delicate china tea sets, the cakes looked delicious but the stew filled me up. I also spotted a few knitted items for children to play with and colouring in, very family friendly. When asked this about items for sale I discovered that this wonderful family business supports small independent people by selling some of their items in the window one artist has prints for sale and there is a small girl who is raising money for RNLI by selling sweets, lovely to see people helping each other out in these hard times. Thank you for the kind hospitality. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options with some vegan ones as well! Kid-friendliness: Colouring in, books, knitted dolls, one beautiful vintage high chair
Excellent food and drink, well priced. Service was brilliant. We had a number of things from the menu, cheese toasties, chips, beef stew, hot chocolate, tea. All were very nice. Worked out about £10 per head for food and a drink.
Think we must have visited on a bad day considering the other reviews. Loved all the quirky little touches BUT so over priced and not particularly good food. Scampi very small portions, fish cakes ok, Welsh Rarebit not very tasty and stuck to the top of your mouth, cakes very dry. Plates not cleared very quickly which is surprising as they don't have many tables. Sadly a disappointing visit.
Quaint if a little dated tearoom. Hot chocolate was lovely, loved the Easter addition with the mini eggs! I had the Welsh Rarebit which was nice but quite expensive for what it was.Food: 4/5
Loved it pretty fine china plates, cups & saucers and teapots, gorgeous food, friendly and helpful vibe... highly recommend going Food: 5/5
Beautiful little tea room and lovely scones! Loved that they served Ribena as well as tea. Lots of homemade cakes to choose from. Friendly staff. The tables could be better arranged to fit more customers in. There were a couple on a table that could seat 6 people and a huge queue outside the door.
We had an afternoon tea to celebrate mother's day, it was very enjoyable and looking around other meals looked good and plentiful especially the home cooked chips. We will be going again especially while it is just down the road. Wheelchair accessibility: It is down a step. It's on the main street, so no parking , but plenty on the green.
Lovely little tea shop, great selection of lunches, they even put together something not on the menu. Friendly staff and on the loveliest of old streets.
