Absolutely brilliant local brewery, booked up for the tour today on my birthday and it was amazing. Book up now and enjoy a great day out with your family and friends. Just to mention Joe who made our day!!
Top of the line brewery and atmosphere. Friendly bartenders who know their beer and and work to help all feel welcome. My hubby and I come here on a regular basis
What a wonderful brewery and brewery tour. We had a brilliant day. Mikey was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot. And we got to sample some of their wonderful beers. The bar area is beautiful
16/10/22: a flying visit to the Beartown Brewery - The Den, as part of our down south return trip. We'd been to Hemel Hempstead for the weekend staying with friends and had done a Bethnal Green Ale Trail. I thought as Beartown was on the way home, it'd be rude not to stop. What a brief, but fantastic experience and came away with quite a few goodies.nnWe bought some fantastic favourites from The Den and had a quick look round the brewery, where a lot of the magic happens.nnWe got Polar, Peach Melbear, Bluebeary, Inception, Creme Bearlee, Kahuna, Claws and Bruin's.nnBeing a traditionalist and not liking change, I'm still to adapt to the new logo/branding, but it is growing on me. Beartown for the unknowing have an amazing selection of beers, with a taste to suit everyone. At The Den, which is separate to the Beartown Tap around the corner they offer a workspace for daily duties, OR just visit and sample as much as you want and taste the range of wonderfulness that they off on their 13 tapped lines not all running.nnThe Den is modern and fresh, part of the Congleton Ale Trail and overlooks the brewery tuns. Lovely and clean open space, bar at one end, benched seating and plenty of power sockets. Moreso, plenty of beer mats for well earned tipples.nnI've previously enjoyed during lockdown the beer tasting online session 'Hibearnation' which seem now to be reserved to monthly subscribers. I would be very happy to see the return for non-subscribers to enjoy tasting session at home as the boxes received were top notch, paired with tasty treats and the 'talk' exceptional!nnThanks to the chap on the tap I also managed to bag a few 'pump toppers' which I have mounted and will be displayed in our home bar The Dog House MMXXI Insta
A brilliant tour comprising a history of the Brewery and the brewing processes...with a few samples thrown in ...a terrific atmosphere too. Thanks again to the staff - we will be back
