Beach Independent Financial Advisors the trading style of Beach UK Ltd was formed in 1988 as Beach Insurance Brokers, concentrating on Commercial General Insurance and formalised a Financial Services side to the business in 1993. Beach Independent Financial Advisors became the trading style when the general insurance and financial services arms of the business split into two separately owned businesses so they could specialise in their own areas. Beach Independent Financial Advisors concentrates on providing wealth management services and impartial financial advice to a broad range of clients from a high net worth individuals/ Company owner to the individual member of staff within a business.
Clients use Beach Independent Financial Advisors through recommendation from existing Financial Services clients and also from a number of professions such as accountants and solicitors.
We are directly regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. As financial advisers we act on behalf of our clients and are bound by our regulators to offer best advice, which complies with the concept of “suitability”. This helps to ensure that the right advice is given and the most suitable products and services that meet the client’s specific requirements are identified and recommended.

In addition the registered individuals engage in a documented Continuous Professional Development program under current Financial Conduct Authority Training and Competence Rules.
Remuneration
Details of the remuneration basis for our services would be discussed dependent upon the services provided. We offer: -
• a fee/time spent basis in relation to all investment and pension business
• a commission basis in relation to protection products
• a ‘Financial Adviser’s Fee’ basis in relation to all products
• A combination of the above
The ‘Financial Adviser’s Fee’ option is where a fee level is agreed for the cost of the advice provided as either a monetary amount or percentage of the fund but this is recouped directly from your plan rather than you paying a separate fee. If you are making pension payments, these attract tax relief therefore this option can offer potential savings over paying a fee from outside the pension arrangement.
