We found this place during our weekend getaway and it's the best spot to stop for a great coffee, great food and beautiful sea views. Widely recommended. Veg and gluten free options are a plus across the menu.Food: 5/5
A lovely place to stop for a bite next to the beach. The staff are really lovely and attentive. When we visited there was a problem with a delivery so they were quickly running out of food but still remained friendly and upbeat where most servers would start getting flustered. Dog friendly, disabled friendly, outside and inside seating and huge open doors so you can still smell that sweet sea air. Plenty of parking but you do have to pay so add this to your expected budget when visiting. The food was amazing and I just wished I ordered the fish as it was brought out my jaw dropped it looked scrummy! The only mark down would be the milkshakes I ordered a strawberry and although it had ice-cream in it it was extremely watery and lacking in flavour which is ok but doesn't really justify the cost I was expecting a strong thick American style shake and the salad was a bit too chopped up and mixed it was hard to identify the flavours. Overall a 4.8 out of 5 thanks for a lovely meal Wheelchair accessibility: Ful wheelchair access around the sides of the building and suitable toilet facilities
We had a brilliant time at Bayside Cabin today. We could tell it was busy by the high number of customers but the staff were amazing even during peak time. Our food was lovely, so quick and the coffee was incredible!! We absolutely love it there and look forward to every visit : Table 7 @ 12.30ish
If I could give this place 6* I would! We arrived just before breakfast was ending and were warmly greeted and seated and our breakfast order promptly taken Susie was so friendly with our 2 children and brought them some colouring. We hardly waited any time for our delicious food to arrive and because of the speed of service we even had time for pudding before the kids needed to go home for nap time! Thanks so much, will be back soon.
Nice location, right on the seafront. Staff friendly and polite. Food was ok but felt the lunchtime prices were a little high. Luckily the two kids meals were half price for half term. Would happily recommend and go back again. Dietary restrictions: Good awareness of Gluten Free/Coeliacs. Reasonable selection of options on the menu. Parking: Car park right outside £1.40 per hour
A super place to sit and watch the world pass by. Super coffee and ice-cream. Free dog friendly treats on offer too. Lovely and friendly staff. I'd recommend visiting here
Lovely place for coffee & cake or more substantial meal. Views over Isle of Wight and seating inside and outside. Dogs welcome outside. Remember to pay for parking in the Council car park next door. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps from car park into front area of venue, higher lips on doors but staff really lovely & helpful
I wasn't so crazy about their eggs benedict but the small bayside is always delicious. The sausages and bacon are particularly good and remind me of my first sausage. The mash and sausages was good but could have used more mash. What was really delicious was the accomanying in season veg. I don't know how they made it but it was amazing.
Pancakes were dry and a very small amount of syrup and dried up bacon and 1 strawberry cut in half. Asked for a small container of yogurt and got a huge bowl. Charged for this and extra syrup. The syrup was minimal to start with. Didn’t finish the meal as dry and not tasty. My husband had a day old baguette and heated up sausages. The quality of food has gone down since last year. Won’t be hurrying back. Real shame as we made a conscious decision to go there.
Great café, gorgeous views of the sea with and a nice little terrace for the summer. Good menu that includes children's portions and vegetarian not sure about others as didn’t look. Food was delicious and generous portions, and staff is very friendly and professional. Also a great selection of hot and cold drinks. Kid-friendliness: Children and pet friendly café
