I've been here a few times now and each time I notice how clean the place is. Even the windows and mirrors. The tables are not sticky and clamy like some places I've been. The food was amazing and reasonably priced and the service was from all staff was lovely, even when they were quite busy they were still polite and attentive. A really nice experience each time I've been.
Proper British cafe. The workers are very kind and down to earth people. Their steak pie is PHENOMENAL! Please share the recipe at once. It's all I ever order when I go there.
Ive been before and enjoyed the cafe. The two lovely people running it always seem down lovely. Just probably in the wrong location. Anyway on my last visit asked for a strong tea. Got loads of tea leafs. Thought hmm hey hum. Took one cup back to the till and well they was only too pleased to help. It was then I got a wiff of the pan on boiled mince meat boiling away on the cooker behind them at the till. I'm not vegan or vegetarian. I just don't like the smell off meat being boiled. So kinda put me out. The smell got stuck up my nose for a while.
It’s like stepping back in time to when I was a kid. Big tea urn, staff in tabards , dish cloth in one hand. I go here as a treat. Proper grub served here. Recommend the fish and chips or steak pie. Good for people watching too.
A nice early morning breakfast spoiled by two female staff having a very loud and public shouting match while l was eating. Had l wanted this l would have eaten at home and listened to the neighbours scream at each other. Not a good look and far from professional.
We visited this cafe in Kirkgate Market on Saturday April ist 2023 Great cosy eating place with well laid out seating Pleasant well organised staff No idiots inside this place eating This for Bradford is uncommon When in Bradford well worth visiting

Service is excellent even in these tuff times. Prices and food very good. Love this little place. I hope all the staff stay safe.
