Absolutely delicious food. Good gluten free menu. Ranfields did their best to accommodate us despite me having to change the time of the booking at the last minute. Decor/environment is a little dated. Would highly recommend for superb food.
Found this place thanks to our Gourmet society card. Had a great evening celebrating our anniversary here. The atmosphere and surroundings are lovely with wall to wall artwork. Attentive staff serve the very well presented, extremely tasty food. We will be back for more.
Had a meal here a couple of Saturdays ago for our Wedding Anniversary, you could not fault anything from start to finish, the food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and professional, we will definitely be going back again...
Had a brilliant meal here on a Saturday night. Really tasty starters. We had lamb and veal for main. The Lamb was fantastic and the veal was nice but a little over cooked and tough. Really enjoyed the bread and butter pudding desert. One of the best I’ve had. Staff were really attentive and friendly.

Myself and my family have been coming to this restaurant for near on 20-years. We're happy to see that John boy has extended the menu but still kept the flavour of old. Absolutely love the slightly eclectic setting. Food is always top-notch and the portion sizes ample. I look forward to attending the restaurant for another 20-years.
