Really good. Had a kids party there. Read all the reviews before hand and was a bit worried. Under new management since most of the bad reviews. No evidence of bad language, sexism etc. Really good with all the kids. All the kids really enjoyed themselves. Maybe need some neck protection. 2 kids had quite big bruises.
Extremely cold, poor facilities for parents, no drinks/food on offer. Damp dirty overalls the children had to wear. Came here for a 9 year olds birthday party for the first time and won't be recommending this to anyone. The brief to the children, which included adults from other groups was given by the owner, it was unprofessional and the staff came across as intimidating to the children and did not have the correct mannor to work with young children. The ladies toilets were dirty with no paper. There was one small window for the viewing area, with only 3 staff on hand with nearly 24 children playing in groups. The guns didn't work properly and saw two children crying, with many looking like they were not particularly enjoying themselves. The whole place was badly run and unprofessional, plus the health and safety leaves alot to be desired. And the pictures on this page/website are nothing like the place inside!..looks like a completely different place
We took our 13 year old daughter and 9 of her friends on 21st May for her birthday. Although a few were initially quite nervous, after being kitted up and briefed, they were all raring to go. Yes they are quite stern when briefing them but with good cause. This can be potentially dangerous if the rules are not followed. The girls safety to them was their priority. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we certainly wouldn't hesitate to return again. WE WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND!! All the girls had a ball. Thank you to all the staff.
This is a very sad thing to do as it could be a great place but I can't lie about the atrocious environment and disorganized establishment. I can't understand how some staff are allowed to work around children. This should be age restricted to 13+ and equipment and attire needs improvement. Unreasonable and intimidating behaviour from staff at children is unacceptable. I've never given under 4 stars as a review before and if I could give it nothing I would.
My son recently came here for a birthday party which resulted in him crying. A member of staff grabbed him by the neck and dragged him away from the course! Due to this abusive bullying behaviour the police will be informed about this disgusting act. I recommend to anyone who is wanting to go paint balling to avoid this place at all costs to its poor child-friendly behaviour. I don't think that this particular employee should not be able to work with or around children.
We went to this venue on an arranged stag do. There was a mixture of people varying from young boys and girls approx. age 13-15 years old to older men. The owner is a rude individual who makes absolutely stupid sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and racist comments without considering his audience or the fact that in the 21st century society has developed far beyond the good old days of the 1600's. I think some time brushing up on customer relations training and reading the Equality Act 2010 would be of benefit. Please do not book this venue, I would love to see the owners claimed "3 ex-wife's" take all his money and leave him penniless as he deserves.
I couldn't put 0 stars so I feel this 1 star is very generous. Where do I start? I booked for 12 people to go paint balling at this establishment. The paint balling itself was boring, I have been paintballing many times before and this was just dull. However the worst part was the staff. I cannot understand how they are still open, legally I mean, the staff are racist, sexist, homophobic, rude, foul mouthed and impatient. They were swearing at small children which was appalling to hear especially when everyone was good paying customers. I could write all day about his bad this was. Avoid at all costs.
I went here for my sons friends Birthday party recently. I was aghast at the attitude of the staff here. Incredibly rude and unfriendly. Pushing through myself and many of the other parents there. This was a 6 year olds Birthday party and they did their level best the scare the living daylights out the kids. It succeeded as half of them ended up running out crying. I won't mention the casual sexism, nationalistic attitude and 'hatred of Germans' they kept peddling. DO we hate germans? or was i the Nazis? .... idiots. Overweight ignorant men who were never able to fulfil army potential and certainly have neither the personalities or the professional skills to run a bath..... never mind a business. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS........, [especially if you're German]
Owner/manager very rude. Basically a racist , sexist, homophobic bully. His son or who ever he is, spoke to the children like dogs ! Clearly dragged up by the owner! I wouldn't dream of speaking to my children the way they do and to hear them tell young children to shut up when they are injured! Also to call all service men "weak"! Not a nice place to take your children! I don't know how he has remained open! Do not take your kids!!
Great splatball party for my 10 year old. Games were well explained and staff supervised the kids well. Spectators should take warm clothes as the basement venue can be a bit chilly.
