Absolutely loved this place, such a lovely place to walk around. Seeing where the battle took place was incredible, being able to picture it so vividly. I'd definitely recommend it for a day out especially as a family
It's beautiful and sad at the same time - meant to be a monastery. The church, which, no doubt, was magnificent, was destroyed. What remains is beautiful, but let's not forget the abbey was built to atone for the bloodshed. Definitely worth visiting.
A well maintained ruin... If there is such a thing but the tower is intact and well worth going to the top. Some things for the children were not available due to the covid-29 restrictions but they have worked things out as best they can.
Visited two months ago and really enjoyed walking here. So relaxing...
One of the best ruins I've seen in UK and a wonderful abbey to walk round. The battle ground and statues around it are so fun and the audio and imagery excellent. The car park is a nightmare though!
