Having had extreme pain and urgently needed medication via prescription, i went to this pharmacy as they were the only ones open and this place is a gem. The staff are very polite, professional and friendly, they put their customers and their needs first and that's very rare as I've come across other pharmacies nearby that lack that level of care and professionalism. A special thank you to the lady who provided me with the medications I needed that evening, she went above and beyond.
Out of hours opening is just fantastic. The pharmacist was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Don't bother using 'late night pharmacies' at the supermarkets, if they don't have enough staff it'll close early, wasting your time.
I have been using this pharmacy for six months, and they have never had my medication in stock. They always have to order it which takes around 1-2 days which I am 100% fine with. However, my prescription expires after 7 days, and every time I have given my prescription BEFORE the expiry date, they have given me a collection slip to pick up the rest of my medication one or two days after the expiration date. once they receive it at their pharmacy as they have to order it in This time, when I went in, the lady manager/owner was there and told her worker that they couldn't do that. I was then informed that they couldn't give me my medication because by the time I received it, the prescription would have expired. I was confused because they've given me my medication late every single time, but this time I was refused, as if they just changed the rules on the spot. They then told me to go to Cleckheaton Pharmacy out of my own time to collect it. I don't see why they couldn't just order it for me as I gave my prescription in BEFORE it had expired. I didn't bother going to Cleckheaton and went to Asda Pharmacy instead, where they gave me a collection slip to collect the next day because that's what they are allowed to do. I understand different pharmacies have different rules, but at least own up to your staff error for many months. This was not the first time I have collected late medication without an issue. A male member of staff has also given me a collection slip previously so again don't see the issue.. I have also paid every single time prior to collection so that I can obtain a receipt as proof of purchase which again proves I collect my medication late all the time. Very unprofessional and made me look like an idiot when they were the ones at fault for changing the rules last minute. I won't be using this pharmacy again. P.S Asda pharmacy was cheaper
Amazing service, visit for my weekly prescription, they’re friendly and know me so well they get my meds without asking my details. Always ask how I’m doing with other issues etc and do doctor requested checks quickly if I’m in a rush
Only pharmacy open on a Sunday night, which was fantastic when had a prescription from the walk in centre same day. Lovely friendly staff, well stocked & waited a matter of minutes for medication. Thank you
Excellent pharmacy! Called late at night as it was the only one open and I live 8 miles away. The pharmacist was incredibly helpful and was able to prescribe the medication that I needed efficiently and was so lovely to speak to! Could do with more medical professionals as understanding, helpful and personable as this lady. Thank you so much, keep up the great service
So we went to the out of hours Doctors in Barnsley, believe it or not we couldn't find a pharmacy open late enough to collect the medication any closer than Batley Pharmacy. I have to say, the staff are lovely and I mean really lovely. It makes such a refreshing change to have someone speak to you without making you feel like you're a hassle and are attentive and reassuring without making you feel like they want you out of the door. Personally if this pharmacy was on my doorstep I would be using them 100%, unfortunately that is not the case. Who ever owns this pharmacy should think about taking over the pharmacy is Royston. Just the way your staff interact in such a short space of time with people like myself means so much. Thank you for your concerns regarding my daughter, and to the lady who I spoke to a personal thank you to yourself, you made a very stressful situation a lot better.
I didn't have a good experience with this. I called up for a vaccine for my umrah trip and they quoted me 55 pounds. However I called back an hour later as I was asked to and then quoted 65...increase in 10 pounds as I wanted it that day. This is unacceptable as I was questioned whether I'm telling the truth and whether I had called them an hour before. MAY ALLAH GUIDE YOU TOO THE RIGHT PATH MY SISTER...
Prescription ready when promised. Very pleasant staff. This was an emergency late Sun evening, & this was the only pharmacy for miles who were open & had the medication in stock. Thank you.
Friendly staff had to pick up insulin for my mum n they were so helpful. Only pharmacy around that isn’t rude and is actually open at night. Great service
