Small selection to choose. I have had sausage roll and lardy cake. Sausage roll was ok, but because it was kept too long it was crumbling in hands. Lardy cake wasn't fresh. That's a bit disappointing as the price tag didn't say that.
Had my breakfast there this morning,They offer 3 sizes on there menu so went for the large .very disappointed 2 slices of bacon and 1 sausage ,I'd hate to see the filling on the small and medium ! I certainly won't be returning.
After awful service at the other bakery in Bassett, decided to give this one a try. Amazing! Staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Nice warm food, good selection and price range of cold drinks. Won't go anywhere else after this visit.
This bakery is 100% . Everything it sells and makes are delicious
Steak slice hardly has steak inside. At best was very small quantity of only mince like thing with gravy.

Gutted. Ordered a steak bake today and a couple of cakes for my daughter and I to enjoy outside after picking her up from nursery. Not a single bit of meat in the steak bake, just gravy and pastry, as I sat desperately waiting for the moment to arrive where I'd bite into a chunk of anything that resembled meat. It didn't. The two stars were for the cakes. I usually don't leave reviews, but I expect far better from a premium priced bakery. £5.80. Perhaps just a one-off but not sure I'd want to chance it again.
Friendly place. Bought a Hall's lardy cake. First one I've had for at least three years! Very good.
Always cold food, went in three times for a bacon roll. Three times I asked to have it hot. 3 times it was cold and stale. Pretty sure foods supposed to be kept above 60 degrees if being served to the public. Especially if it’s not been blast chilled first. Disgusting
Great sausage rolls! Attentive staff ready to cheer up your day with a friendly banter and big smile! Forget fast food chains and go to the Bassett Bakery.
