We would thoroughly and highly recommend Basfords in Nottingham who supplied and fitted our Sunflex UK sliding doors and also were the only company who embraced our vision to create a large round feature window for our home extension in the Midlands and actually helped us realise this vision and made it happen! From beginning to end, Craig and his Team were highly knowledgeable, friendly and reliable. Despite the pressures of the current Covid climate and inevitable challenges, they were highly professional, kept us up to date and ensured the glazing was fitted to an exceptional standard until we were 100% happy with the final product. Darren and the Basfords installation team were superb during the fitting and take a huge amount of pride in their finish. We would whole heartedly recommend them and use them again without hesitation. Thank you Basfords!
I have to admit that I was apprehensive having read some of these previous reviews. We were wanting to update the look of our home by replacing two sets of patio doors, a large kitchen window and a bedroom window on the back of the house. When we visited the showroom, there was a good selection of brands available and it was really great to be able to 'touch and feel the products' and see which would be best suited for what we wanted to achieve. Craig was excellent, with his extensive knowledge and vision, at helping us create just what we were looking for. Having received my quote for Origin windows went away to think about whether or not to continue with the purchase. After a bit of a tricky start getting dates for the installation, as there was some issue with the ordering, a date was set. Lee and James arrived promptly in the morning and set to work installing a steel and replacing the windows. Lee and James were a credit to Basfords Windows. They were efficient, friendly, knowledgable, courteous and left everywhere clean and tidy each day. They came over a 3 day period and their customer service was excellent. I have been very happy choosing Basfords for my windows. They have transformed the look of my home and I feel that we will be returning to them again, in the future, when we replace the windows on the front of our property.
We just had a patio door, back door and window supplied and installed by Basfords. The quote was really competitive and the team at Basfords talked us through all the options as we decided exactly what we wanted, with no pressure to make our decisions. The installation process was great. Lee and James spent a lot of time getting things perfect for us and explained every step of the work as it progressed. Overall I would highly recommend Basfords, they have been really flexible with our installation dates and the fitting team were 1st class!
We wanted an Orangery extension to add more comfortable space and light with a full window to view our garden. From planning to completion Basfords Ltd gave us just what we needed. We could not be more pleased with the quality of service from this amazing team who are friendly and skilled. A Big thank you from the MD who personally visited us to the guys who built our amazing Orangery extension.
I would leave no stars if I could. Absolute shambles of a company. We ordered £20k of windows from them in Jan 22. The only thing they are competent at is taking your money. Took them 6 months from ordering to installation. Then every single window is wrong and/or broken. Impossible to get anywhere with Jeanette or Craig. No one calls you back. Emails are ignored. They have caused us massive delays with our building project and couldn’t care less. Please, please avoid them. I can’t put into works just how utterly useless they are.
We have just had our origin bifold doors fitted by basfords of Nottingham we couldn’t be happier with the result we think they look great Craig has been very helpful from the beginning to fitting. The fitters that came to fit Alex& Andy were very professional and did a great job and when they were finished they cleaned up and took all the mess away !! great job boys and well done Craig we can highly recommend basfords of Nottingham. Super happy with the service once again. I had some windows off Basfords many years ago never had any problems. Now I am in the market for something more modern. I must say. Basfords by far has the best showroom, even years later. They even have 200 Degrees coffee... No pressure or hard sell like the other showrooms we visited. Very relaxed and super compliant on prices, very happy with the service. 5 Stars - See you soon for more coffee and our doors.
Great to see the product range and gain good advice in the showroom thanks. Quick delivery after the survey followed by an excellent install with zero mess and even minor mortar repair at the frame edges. The windows look fab plus much better than the previous white UPVC units, so am very happy, thank you.
I’ve recently had an orangery built at my house . Fantastic Job . From start to finish , all the workers arrived on time , and talked me throughout the works to be carried out . Really happy with the end product. The job was finished on time and my property was left immaculate. Definitely recommend .
Terrible aftersales care from this company. I would definitely NOT have used them if I had known this. I have waited more than a year for them to replace an incorrect panel of glass and remedy a leak. I have had to resort to report Basfords to trading standards to see if I can get work completed by them. They do not want to know you once they have got your money.
