Would give 0 stars if I could - “manager” is no help whatsoever. Was told over the phone I could get a refund due to the prices being quite a difference online. Got to the store to then be told it would only be an exchange or credit note. Then to have other staff members laughing. Shocking service.
Amazing staff thank you so much for sorting my boys blazers and tank tops for their 1st day at primary school it's really appreciated thanks again.
Manager is a miserable bully. Likes to pick on the young girls in the shop in front of customers, can't imagine what he says when customers aren't around. Witnessed him, mock and belittle a young girl because she wasn't doing something "fast enough".
Bought trousers from this shop they didn’t fit took them back and the lady said to get 2 pairs to try none fitted I tried to take both back and I didn’t get a refund only a exchange or credit note my son is in 6th year so I explained I didn’t need anything and no one said to me I wouldn’t get a refund especially when the lady said to buy another pair to check the size. Credit note was a written 1 on a piece of paper! Eventually I got a till receipt 1. Not very happy as this shop is expensive enough I had to buy other trousers from another store which is another expense would never buy from here again.
Excellent service. Went into the shop on a Sunday, there were a few other people in the store but a gentleman was with us within a couple of minutes. He knew what size/length of blazer my son would need just by looking at him. Retrieved the size straight away, we tried on, placed order for school badge to be added, paid and left shop all within 10mins. I received a text a couple of days later and picked the order up same day. Happy days. Stress free shopping.
Obnoxious & Discourteous. I do not recommend shopping here. It’s a store that is perceived as the only option for parents to buy their children's school uniform. Here you'll read why you should not give them any business. I’ll provide alternatives which are better price, quality and service. 1. Failed to fulfill order in time - Order had a 4 wk delivery, 9 weeks later do not have the items. 2. Poor Communication - They informed me I’ll receive a text message when ready for collection, I never received any texts, I had to follow up each time to find the status of my order. Extremely poor customer experience, especially considering non delivery of items on time and no updates. Note: They do not answer the phone. All incoming calls are engaged as they keep the phone off the hook always engaged therefore forcing people to have to travel to the store. I tried calling whilst in store and engaged yet nobody was on the phone. 3. Atrocious Management - As stated above - I ordered and was told 4 wks delivery and that i would receive at text message. I called continuously but the phone was always off the hook. At week 7 and still not hearing anything, I travelled to the store and was told it would be 1-2 days and i would receive a text. 3 days later, no text message I called again engaged and had to travel to the store. I informed them of this history, girl checked order and said should be 1-2 days and ill be texted. I requested the manager. The manager appeared on the shop floor and I expressed my frustration and explained the poor experience, he showed no empathy for the terrible service I had experienced and became aloof, and started to look away around the shop whilst i was talking to him. I then addressed this to say he was not even giving me the respect to look at me as i spoke to him, he then accused me again of being rude! I found this absolutely astounding, as a customer who had experienced an appalling experience to then speak to a manager who showed no empathy, consideration and basically could not be bothered caring. It is abundantly clear this manager does not have any consideration for customer experience, he just could not be bothered listening to me. Worst still he then lied to my face. I informed him my wife spoke to him on the Monday and he told her 1-2 days and she will receive a text and he claimed he did not speak to her, she since confirmed it was him she spoke to. If you need further proof, just look at their response a customer who also suffered a poor experience which he reported on google reviews - The manager wrote "Hi there xxx. I am afraid you are not correct. we do offer an exchange service and refunds are accepted for faulty items in accordance with your statutory rights." Just analysis the tone of voice through that response, totally condescending. In summary - This store have monopolised the area and many parents will think they have no option but to put up with this. The manager does not care about customer experience. There is no empathy, care or consideration to the customer experience. I will now share alternatives to hopefully save people making the same mistake as to shop here. Alternatives: - Buy your items/clothing from Marks & Spencer - They stock all items except blazers which you can find at John Lewis. This will give you greater control and faster speed of delivery. For the School Crest - All schools will be able to provide you with a image of the crest or PDF/PNG and you an use a local embroidery company to put this onto the clothing items search local companies - there are lots. Embroidery of crest will cost max £3 per crest and you may get further reduction if in bulk. Advantage - Superior clothing quality, therefore better through the wash and longevity of the items. - Order direct from the school.
You are now insulting me. To leave a response saying you told me on the phone that my blazer was ready to pick up is an absolute lie, you said no such thing, I was told I had to give you a copy of the receipt as you had no evidence of my order. I did also go to the school to pick up the blazer and you were not at the usual place. I also left my contact number a week past Friday, you advised that you would get back to me & never did. Absolutely awful service. I paid for a blazer 4 weeks ago after they came to my daughter's school, they were supposed to deliver the blazer back to the school which they never did. I have since chased them twice and I am now being told that I need to supply them with a copy of my receipt as they have no record of my purchase! I should have learnt from my experience last year when the exact same thing happened. Don't trust them, take your money and then just ignore you!
Attention to all looking to work for this company - don’t go near this place. The members of staff treated me unfairly ie hear them talking about me, give me instructions then complain about how the task was done. The quality of service that is given to the junior staff and customers is appalling. The manager of the company is constantly miserable which made me feel uncomfortable to speak to him as I felt I was always bothering him.
Used this place two years in a row and found the service really good and staff very friendly ordered a blazer this year at the last minute my usual and it came in on time for my daughter starting back. Will continue to use this shop
I have been waiting since 12th august 2018 for 3 badges and 1 tie called they answered with i need to wait for manager to come in to call back been waiting a week for that still nothing they said nothing on record i have bank statement with money took for items still no reply
