Corser on 25-06-2026 At 9:30 Amnn​As a patient who takes great pride in maintaining an active, athletic, and healthy lifestyle, I am utterly disheartened by how I was treated during this appointment. I would like to bring the following points to your attention:nn​Financial and Administrative Disappointment: I paid a substantial fee of £102 for this medical certificate, which is a significant private expense. Furthermore, despite the surgery not appearing excessively busy, I was given an appointment 20 days prior, causing an unnecessary delay in my licensing process.n​Unprofessional and Negative Demeanour: Upon entering the consultation room, Dr Corser’s demeanour was instantly draining and adversarial. Within just ten seconds of reviewing my paperwork, she adopted a highly negative, discouraging, and condescending tone. She repeatedly made negative remarks about my health indicators, completely ignoring my actual physical fitness and well-being.n​Disproportionate and Biased Medical Logging: I have well-controlled Type 2 Diabetes, which I manage meticulously through an excellent diet and a healthy lifestyle. Instead of objectively recording the facts, Dr Corser appeared intent on creating obstacles for my application. She wrote an unnecessarily lengthy and negative commentary on the medical certificate, seemingly with the sole purpose of hindering my licensing process with the local council.n​Lack of Compassion and Equality: As a professional driver, I frequently see significantly older individuals, or those with visible physical frailties and poor mobility, successfully holding taxi licences. It is deeply unfair that despite my excellent physical fitness, I was subjected to 20 minutes of intense negative pressure from a hostile GP, while paying a premium for a service that should have been straightforward.n​A doctor is expected to communicate with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. Unfortunately, Dr Corser demonstrated a complete lack of patient care and basic courtesy. My experience felt less like a medical assessment and more like an intentional attempt to demoralise me.nn​I strongly advise that the clinic addresses Dr Corser’s bedside manner and communication skills. Patients—especially those paying for private certificates—deserve to be treated with respect, not hostility.nn​I look forward to receiving your prompt response detailing how this matter will be investigated and addressed.nn​Yours sincerely,nn​
Was concerned about moving to a different GP practice after we relocated to Dawlish, but needn't have. All drs have been good, especially Dr Rogers, who I saw today, Dr Harvey who gave me a steroid injection and my own GP Dr Small. All nursing team are brilliant and a special mention to the lovely receptionist who was on reception this morning...she is always pleasant, professional and really helpful. Well done team.
Considering the recent expansion of our town, this surgery manages to perform efficiently and with great care. The doctors, nurses and front desk staff are all excellent. We feel extremely fortunate to live here.
Whoever Maggie is on the front desk. So rude. I am in immense pain with my back and she was extremely rude and unhelpful and bitter on the phone. I am already an anxious caller and she interrupted me and was extremely rude.
Nurses, secretaries and reception team are all very friendly and well organsied. Dr Orr always comes across quite rude and then wonders why we don't visit as often as we should.
