We went for a drive in the country & stopped for a lovely lunch at The Waterfront in the marina. Surprisingly quite a vast site so lots of boats to see. Unfortunately we ran out of time to explore the other businesses located here but will definitely be back
Lovely place for a walk , a few restaurants so you can buy a coffee or ice creams or just have something to eat .
Lovely location for an afternoon visit. Nice lakeside walk and plenty of artisan shops to take a look at including art galleries, cafes and more. We visited at the weekend and it was challenging to find a parking space but otherwise all good. Recommend a visit.
Lovely marina with nice views and a nice parade of shops including a small cinema/cafe, pub/restaurant, several cafes, shops including a farm shop, and Thai restaurant. Worth a visit. Use the free car park near the shops.
Lovely setting and good selection of eateries. Dogs particularly welcome in Coffee Bar with puppicino for every dog whose human buys coffee! Excellent snack menu and reasonably priced. Interesting art gallery and clothing/gift shops.
Barton Marine is always a lovely place to walk with family and friends. Carpark takes cash or card.
Myself and my friends visit the cafe and lakes for wildlife observations. The centre itself is really nice, with good cafes restaurants and shops We were disappointed that money grabbing vermin "parking eye" have been allowed to take over the nearest lakeside carpark, previously used by hundreds every day, including the disabled wanting to see and feed the birds.... Now you are lucky if you see one or two cars in there because of the extortion racket. Even us disabled have to pay their public extortion fees.
Lovely place to walk the dog, and relax with a coffee. It can get quite busy when it is warm. You have to pay in the first car park on the right as you go in, but further up the parking is free
The butcher Matt is our go-to place for quality meat. They have a good selection of seasonal vegetables and frozen meals, too. We placed our order, then toddled to the Appletree cafe next door for a late breakfast. Always freshly prepared and the staff are lovely. We're very lucky to have these amenities within walking distance. Food, shopping, views, and a bit of exercise while watching the birds. But don't tell everyone. They'll all want to come!
Very nice place for a relaxing visit. Very nice views over the Marina. Pub and ice cream shop was very good. Only problem was the lack of bins to put your rubbish. None at all on the marina
