I Couldn't recommend Animal Funeral Services more. When my dog Max passed away, I didn't have a clue what to do. When I contacted AFS they took care of everything, kept me updated all the way through the process and just made it all just so easy. Professional, friendly and just such a great service provided.
Rachael and Austin were very professional but sympathetic with my dog, they exceeded my expectations and made the whole experience easier to bear. I can’t thank them enough
I Goggled pet cremation near me and this was the one I chose. I emailed Rachael and got an instant email back. After giving Rachael the information she needed I asked if I could take my dog Roxy that died at home out to her. I had never used this service directly before as previously dogs had been put to sleep and then left with the vet practice to complete the actions of single cremation. So all new to me. Rachael was so easy to talk to even in grief. I was offered same day to have Roxy back but went for next day. No money had changed hands. I went to get Roxy's ashes back today and even the blankets I took Roxy in had been washed and ready for me to take home. Another added little touch was I got the metal work back from an operation that Roxy had on her cruciate ligament. I was looking for a forget me not urn to put ashes in, so for the time being Roxys ashes were in a plastic bag within a grey corded pouch. Rachael is needing a photo of the one I have on the off chance she can find one. I walked away after standing chatting about animals after half an hour, there was no rushing me away. I made payment eventually when I arrived home. Very trusting and very reasonable price for services received, the personal touch made all the difference at such a sad time. Highly recommend their services and will be telling my dog friends where to use in future.

I phoned Rachael at Animal Funeral Services after my lovely cat Oscar died suddenly this week. Straight away Rachael was really lovely and very symathetic. I was able to take Oscar there straight away. Rachael did not rush me at all while i was saying my final goodbye and having my last very long cuddle with my boy. I really struggled to think of my Oscar going into cold storage but Rachael reassured me about this and the cremation was carried out straight away. There was no mention of upfront payments or requests for money when i dropped off and I was able to collect the ashes the following day. Thank you so much for the service you provided. It really did make what was an extremely sad and difficult day, easier to cope with. Many thanks Rachael and Austin it is much appreciated. Sarah Williams.
A lovely urn for my Molly with a nice little paw prints on and a bone shaped name tag on the neck of the urn with Molly's name on. A nice card and cremation certificate came in the nice touch of the bag with paw prints on too.
