This is an EXCELLENT outside catering service, very professional and exceptionally polite people to deal with, and they set up the buffet incredibly quickly. The buffet was perfect and plentiful, the sandwiches were oozing with a variety of fillings and very tasty. The gateaux's were amazing and well worth the extra cost. I would certainly use Barton and Sons for my catering needs again and definitely recommend them to anyone who has an upcoming event to organise.

Just been in for some lunch on my second visit and a bit disappointing again. Had a tuna melt panini and it was very under done. The cheese was just a bit sweaty and not melted at all. They used very large chunks of red onion in it which was a bit overpowering, the side salad was just a few bits of cucumber, a few droopy bits of iceburg and again, some very thick slice of tomato. No finesse in the food and the staff whilst polite, appear to be just a bunch of kids with very limited catering knowledge or skill. Some knife practice wouldn't go amiss so they can slice things a bit finer.  It's okay if there is nothing else around or you want a greasy spoon breakfast, but anything slightly more delicate than this they struggle with which makes the price appear a little steep.
