Lively afternoon out. The children loved the trains and it was good value for money. The cafe food was yummy too!

I found this place to be very interesting and authentic in its presentation of memorabilia. There was lots of information and plenty of interactive displays.

Recently renovated, the roundhouse has a fantastic selection of locomotives, museum and access to the Deltic Preservation Society.  Well worth a visit.  On site cafe serves good quality food to kick start your day wandering around the steam and heritage diesel locos.

Shame the Loco's are fenced off during the Beer Festival. They are just as interesting as the beers to us old buggers. Superb event non the less

A good place to visit if you like railway history.
