Hot water tank started leaking, no replies from other plumbers. Called Chris who was able to take a look within a few hours. Came back the next day to fit a new one. Kept us informed the whole time. Very polite, clean, friendly, fast service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be using Chris again!

Booked a boiler service. I came home early from work to let him in but he was over two hours late, and failed to call or text to let me know this. I did manage to speak to him but he was very unapologetic. This remained the case when he eventually arrived. He did the job incredibly quickly which may or not be normal, I don't know. He was relatively friendly, but the complete lack of apology or information about his lateness was unprofessional. I know tradesmen are incredibly busy but there's no excuse for poor manners, especially as I left work early. Once the job was done, he failed to ask if I wanted a certificate. I've been told that certificates for boiler services are legal requirements, but I don't know if this is the case or not. Either way, some weeks later, I asked him by email, text and phone to send me a certificate. He occasionally responded but, even after I sent him the photos and information he asked for, he never sent me it. I'd have preferred if he'd just said, "I can't provide a certificate" rather than waste my time. Pricing-wise, he's about average as far as I'm aware. However, I know that I'm not the only one to be frustrated by him. Several of my former colleagues also paid him for work and were equally unimpressed.

I called Chris and left a voicemail at 9am on saturday the 20th of august this year after my loft water tank started leaking. Unlike all the others I tried to contact who didnt call back at all, he rang me back right away and not only diagnosed the problem but worked tirelessly to replace the tank the same day. Throughout, he was polite, professional and careful in his work, and the quote he gave for the work was reasonable. You cant ask for better than that, Ill certainly be employing Chris for any plumbing work in the future and I would recommend him to anyone.

Five stars for Chris Barrow. Never used him before. We had an emergency - drilled into central heating pipe. Chris answered the phone at once. Was with us within an hour. Tricky job but completed within an hour very professionally. A really good guy, good character, and charges reasonable. We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Had boiler and taps fitted by Chris, its really efficient and professional and everything is working very good, everything was clean and tidy after he had done the job. Reasonable priced, friendly service, reliable and someone you can trust. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Chris is very easy to work with. The job specifications changed substantially during the course of the work and he accommodated all the changes without any difficulty. It was all completed to a a high standard, and we are very satisfied customers.

Came back and remedied his work  He is probably a good plumber, but this is what he did. Moved here to Weymouth and we needed a leak fixing and he did that because the plumber who was doing the work went away whilst some building works were going on and the builder smashed  into the pipe He inserted a push fit into a length of pipe that should have been soldered as a copper connector, but did not wish to drain the system down. He  fitted the radiator then left leaving all the rubbish for my wife to pick up. I then had to do some making good as the floorboard would not go down flush. He then stated to my wife that we needed a pressure valve on the boiler and said it was potentially dangerous, so he fitted a new one only for my usual plumber to ask why I had fitted a 2nd pressure valve.. He did offer to come back and rectify the work, but on the radiator i cut my losses. With reference to the pressure valve i will get round to buying in against him and charging him. He is competent, is a nice bloke and knows what he is doing, but not spotting a pressure valve in situ was a pretty a pretty basic error and he charged £150.00 to do the work. Welcome to Weymouth. Nice guy, but he needs to slow down and be a bit more concise.
