The bar is small but you have seating outside also which can accommodate wheelchairs. I am unsure if it is step free access to inside. I would call and ask as I think I had to step up to get in. The atmosphere was calm and friendly with customers interacting with different groups. The food looked nice although we didn't order on this visit. Drinks were pricey. Parking is difficult as you need to find it at the roadside. This place is in the town centre so options are few depending on the time of your visit.
Attended Barrique today 13/07/2024 at approximately 15:00 to enquire about hiring for a private event if possible and potentially have some food and drink. My wife and I entered and there were 3 members of staff at the bar area. All 3 saw us waiting and point blank ignored us, so we decided to leave. Very poor customer service! Definitely made us feel like we did not belong there. Will definitely not be returning
The food was delicious, but the wait time was too long
We held our daughter's baby shower here and I have to say what an excellent venue. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. When we set up in the morning they helped with the decor and moving tables. The charcuterie grazing boards were fabulous quality and really went down well. The prosecco on arrival was topped with candy floss, which was a lovely fun addition. They didn't rush us out and attended to our every need. I highly recommend this venue and their staff
I initially wanted to email the restaurant with feedback following a very disappointing visit yesterday, as I thought it was unfair to damage the restaurants feedback score when it was an obnoxious staff member I had issue with. Unfortunately my emails were undelivered from the two addresses they provide on the website and social media. It's lovely place in a great location. The food was also great. Unfortunately one of the team really let the place down. My partner ordered our food, ordering a garlic bread with cheese for me and a goats cheese salad for herself. The food that actually arrived for me was a goats cheese pizza with caramelised onions. Had I not dietary requirements preventing me from eating such a pizza then I would have let the error go, but unfortunately I was unable to. On raising the issue with the waitress I was abruptly told 'She definitely ordered the goats cheese pizza', ignoring my partner whilst accusing her of being able to order food correctly. Pretty disrespectful I thought. My partner, aka 'she', actually ordered the garlic bread with cheese, but that was not good enough for the waitress. We were told that my partner was lying and if we wanted the correct pizza we would have to pay for two pizzas! What?! Had we not already paid for the food then I would have walked out of your restaurant at this point. I had a fair bit of experience in hospitality throughout my teens and early twenties and have a good idea of how customers should be treated. Regardless of whether or not my partner accidently ordered the wrong food which she did not, I know that every establishment I've ever worked in would have gracefully accepted the situation and served the correct pizza without making accusations and demeaning a customer in front of a full restaurant. Fortunately on speaking with the manager she agreed to replace the pizza, but we had no apology and had a very unpleasant overall experience. We paid good money for our food experience and the way my partner was spoken to was completely unacceptable. I hope that this staff member will be spoken to and given some training in hospitality to prevent this happening to another paying customer.
The Sangria was excellent. Staff were friendly and we had a laugh. Pizza was amazing, best pizza we've ever had. Cheers guys.Food: 5/5
Lovely place for a light meal fabulous food and marvellous wine choice !! Great to sit and chill with a glass or Two and people watch yet another little Gem in Sunny Lytham Food: 5/5
Good selection of beers wine food and sharing platters for a lunchtime meal. Very pleasant seating area outsideFood: 4/5
On a sunny day this is a great place to take a step back from the busier Main Street. Sitting in the sun with home made sangria. Recommend.
A very well located wine bar in the heart of Lytham with good seating inside and outside covered area facing Market Square. Enjoy an excellent choice of world wines with an option of tasting various wines using a vending card at your own leisure. You can also purchase wine bottles with some gift options. There are currently Open Mic nights on Wednesdays and wine tasting events. Overall I liked this bar but can be expensive if just drinking wine all night.
