Leigh- Anne is an absolute gem. She was so accommodating for our large group; answering all of our questions and being so attentive. The £2 pound tacos and 2 for 1 drinks are the perfect snack. We thoroughly enjoyed.Food: 5/5
Darren and Elyse were the heartbeat of Barrio Bar Brixton. Darren, the cocktail wizard, crafted drinks that told stories, each sip a journey. Elyse, with her warm smile and infectious energy, made every guest feel like family. Together, they transformed ordinary nights into unforgettable experiences. Their events were legendary, filled with laughter, music, and joy. Patrons returned, not just for the ambiance, but for the genuine connection they felt. One evening, as the bar buzzed with life, a regular raised a glass and quipped, "With Darren and Elyse, it's never just a bar—it's a *bar-illiant* experience!" Wheelchair accessibility: They see me rollin' they hating. 10/10 would ride dirty again.
We visited the Brixton branch for tacos priced at £2 each. Despite expecting them to be small, the disappointment came from their lack of flavor, blandness, and being very cold. The vibrant decor didn't reflect in the food. The proteins were tasteless and cold, the tortilla dry, even with added hot sauce. The saving grace was a complimentary small margarita for signing up to their mailing list. My friend enjoyed the fact that the fries were crispy. On a Friday evening, we were initially surprised by the low turnout. However, after trying the food, the lack of crowds didn't come as a surprise anymore.
