I have used Barrhead in Dunfermline for years. I will not be using them again! The poor organisation, lack of information and the fact that we had to do a great deal of research ourselves had left me feeling that a very expensive holiday was way more stressful than it should have been. All information wasn't shared at booking. Car rental wasn't booked properly, costing a great deal of money and time when we landed. Confusion over booking with Virgin by using a 3rd party company meant we could choose the seats we wanted. This meant my husband and son had a very uncomfortable trip. Tours included in our trip, but there was no information on how to book these on our holiday. We had to go and chase up the paper work, no email had been sent to say the documents had arrived.

Barrhead travel staff, allowed me and my fiancee to have a great holiday, and they help you in any way they can. On the day at the airport is was told my return flight was cancelled, so called Barrhead travel, he told me to go and enjoy your holiday that he would sort it, and had no problems on my return. So a big thankyou to all at Barrhead travel, I highly recommend Barrhead travel for piece of mind when booking your holiday. Will not go past Barrhead for future holidies thankyou.

Phoned Barhead travel first thing on Monday morning,gave them all our particulars on the cruise we wished to book ,phoned them today Wednesdayto ask why nobody had got back to me only to be told that the person that was dealing with it was on his days off. So much for trying to support a Scottish company, never again.

Seem to be that if you have a complaint and take it to dunfermline branch they are not going to help you, only interested if it's a sale. Please don't call because their customer service staff can't reply to your problem for eating a ice lolly when answering your call.

Never have I dealt with such incompetent staff who lie through their teeth for a sale. Worse than Arnold Clark dealerships. Been lied to by two members of staff about a holiday I'd booked and when I requested to speak to a manager about this I had a very patronising lady come tell me I was lying, and her staff don't know any better about the agents they book. Absolute disgrace. The assistant manager wouldn't even listen to what the problem was, far too busy sticking up for her best pals.

We have been dealing with barrhead for years now and we have no complaints, number 1 professional couldn't ask for anything better they pull out all the stops especially when we have our granddaughter with us who has special needs, great crew, keep it up thankyou.

Booked a holiday with them and got here never got told about besroom tax or that there was no disable access to the pools for my Gran, then the next day got a phone call saying the show we book got cancelled they gave us the same day or Saturday the 14th and booked us all in for the 12th when we would never of accepted it because we had another excursion that day and there are 6 of us and they are saying it’s our own faults for missing it will definitely not be booking another holiday with them! Will be in once I am back and I want a refund for the show we paid for that they mucked up on  If I can give minus stars I would

Just been in to change some Danish Krone back, only to be offered  a derisory return rate in spite of purchasing from them, their invoice does not show a typical return rate, but advertises 0% commission.  We recently returned from Vegas and Orlando after booking a £6000 holiday through them, we would NEVER use barrhead travel again for anything, just lost a massive customer.  It's the internet from now on,

Very helpful staff and found the holiday I wanted!!
