Not alot to say about a train station. Trains arrive pretty regularly and usualy on time. Heated seating area on eastbound platform (busy side heading to glasgow central). Self service ticket machine available to pick up booked tickets. Should the need arrive the station is manned and has a customer service desk which is opened during core hours (9-5).

Decent wee station. Space to hide from elements in wee waiting room. Friendly staff & customer loo

Toilet is ALWAYS out of order and several times the waiting room has been closed so you are forced to wait on the platform no matter the weather

Staff are always friendly and helpful...it's a station with a ticket man a ticket machine and 2 ways out of town...not much else. Mibbe a metro in the morning if yer lucky. Oh and don't think ye'll get a seat heading to glasgow on the fast train in the morning!

Could do with better lighting at night &  exit sign posts for people not familiar with the station.
