Very slow service... sausages were very greasy... chips OK.. curry sauce, ok... Had to wait over 20 minutes... the sausages were already cooked and waited on the chips... sausages were cold ... The cook was very badly organised... more interested in his phone... The person taking our order didn't write anything down... and then managed to get our order wrong... i won't be rushing back...
I had cod and chips with curry sauce, it was amazing however the curry sauce pot was rather small… the meal and a drink was £10.50 which I thought was slightly expensive but worth it.
The food was delicious and plentiful! Also great value for money! The staff were very warm and friendly. Will definitely be back :

Moved back to this Area but pleased to discover that for quality and taste this remains a very good chip shop indeed! Definitely worth a look. Been going a while now, the chips can occasionally be a touch under cooked when very busy sad to say. That said if you ask for them to be a little well done or any custom order they are happy to do so.
The fish and chips here are lovely and cooked very well, but over the last few weeks when I order a large cod got smaller and smaller very friendly but looks as if I have to go elsewhere

We are regular visitors to the area and normally get our fish and chips from another fish and chip shop. This time decided out of travel distance convenience to try this fish and chip shop and I'm glad we did. We both ordered haddock and chips it was not only lovely and hot it was delicious. We will be using this fish and chip shop again.
Absolutely gorgeous fish and chips. We always go there won't go anywhere else. The owners are always very friendly and smiling. Definitely worth a try you won't be disappointed xx
