Built to a reasonable standard . Roads are like a rabbit warren and I the side roads you have to go over the pavement area to get two cars pass. If you have more than one car or like visitors think again as there is very limited parking and will get worse as they finish more houses. If you have no car and travel by public transport this is ideal for you.

I don't want to give a star but forcing to give at least single star. To build a house, they are taking 10 months with 4 times extended anticipation date. Still they don't have final date of completion. And their reasons are 'Unfortunately' , 'incorrect staircase delivered'.  Ridiculous answers.

Just moved in a month ago. Poor quality, overpriced and overadvertised.
Already paid 2 parking tickets since we moved in.
Doors had to be taked and shortened as were scraching the flooring, walls aren't soundproofing I am hearing when my neighbours are turning on their bedroom light. Drainage refulates in the top shower, cupboards are cracked, walls are already cracked, kitchen extractor worked 2 days and needed to be changed, bad planning.

Terrible experience with Barratts. If buying a house was like buying and item from the shop where you can take it back for a full refund, I would have done just that and ran as far away as I possibly could. 

I will try and be brief.

Houses built in a hurry.The day we moved in (18th December 2015), we had to wait outside for the builders to finish before we could get in.

Squeaky floors/walls/stairs. Walls have been cut open twice to remedy the squeaky noises , and after a few months they are still squeaky as I write this review (23rd Jan 2018).

Door handles are falling off.

Huge living rooms, only one Light bulb and one switch.

Tiny radiators (2) in the living room which can barely heat up the room. Ironically there is a huge radiator in the kitchen.

Huge issue with parking. The number of visitors parked provided is no where near what we were promised when we were buying. Despite this, Barratt brought in a parking enforcement company which is out to profit from parking fines issued to the very residents they were supposed to be protecting. Build quality is unacceptable and NO visitor parkings for residents . everyday big chaos  , No play area for kids , When we were sold our house we were sold it on the basis that we had a resident permit and a visitor permit so having 2 cars was not a problem,  but in reality there are 750 homes but 100 visitor parkings which belongs to council  not barratts so residents may have to pay for visitor parking in future if council implements .  totally misguided .
