Very exciting. Just have a look yourself. It looks a bit rough but is a treasure trove of all kind of stuff from buttons, clothes, silver spoons to skeletons and grandma's steam radio. The murials are unique and off the typical tourist trail.
Great little historic market in Glasgow. Markets are varied and you can find pretty much whatever you're looking for. Plenty of places to eat, drink, buy clothes, art, vinyl records, souvenirs and whatever you need. Definitely worth a trip out if you're visiting the city. Even if you don't intend on buying something it is worth a look around just to take it all in and see another side to the area. Would recommend any day of the week! There's always something going off, day or night!
You'll see all sorts at the Barras, and not just things to buy. A real eclectic mix of stalls, art, antiques, old and new. An interesting way to spend an afternoon. There are plenty of food options. It's a weird mix of trendy and trampy and good fun for treasure hunting.
Such an interesting place to visit even if you don’t buy anything. There is so much to see and you will find new interesting stuff every time you go there. Most of the vendors are incredibly friendly and helpful.
Had a fantastic experience today at the market stall Cowpeople where I finally purchased myself a decent pair of boots after returning from the midwest last autumn for the wedding, it was my only thing I couldn’t find but now back in Glasgow we have them
