The pannier market in Barnstaple in really good lots of stalls to look at and and very long high street loads of shops and also the Green lane shopping center plenty of Parking is above to and an extra bonus they have a Wimpy restaurant One of the few restaurants left!; enjoy

It's a nice bus station central in Barnstaple. There's a coffee shop and toilets there.

Used the bus station in August 2025 - got dropped off by National Express and then used the local bus service to get to Ilfracombe that has a good service and until late at night There are about 10 or 11 different stand with different bus numbers - check which stand you need - There are some real information time screes for some buses - quite a busy place but I was there on a weekday evening about 7 pm  used Stagecoach to get to Ilfracombe who do the £3 capped scheme

Joke of a bus station. Nothing inside for the passengers waiting like a toilet or waiting room. Supposed to be the capital of North Devon. Buses are infrequent at best funding and zero toilets. Cafe shuts at about 330pm.  Only pubs near by for a bathroom visit but you need good time for this as service in any business is friendly but slow. Old 90s style metal and glass stands are baking hot in the sun. Only useful bit is the map of stops and locations. Council need to find the place if they want shoppers or visitors to come.

The buses usually get you to where you need to get however a lot of the time the buses become late not always their fault the buses and bus stations can be quite dirty because of people leaving litter. Lots of people in the area and alot of chavy people who like to try cause trouble or just try be loud and annoying. However most of the time you can get a bus to where you need to go so that's really all you need from a bus station.
