In trauma and orthopaedic services at fracture clinic barnet seriously annoying. Appointment was there I went there for my 3 years old daughter bit early twice a time, but the staff always said to me waiting time is 3-10 hours min as they running late. I don’t understand pre booked appointment how they can say they are running late. The lady nurse was seriously rude. Not much patient there. Enough staff and everything look perfect. First time for nhs i have to post the review like this. Really angry because of that nurse 0* there service
Absolutely disgusting behavior, pediatric doctor a girl named Gina Absolutely out of order. I was waiting in there at 3 1/2 hours and she was saying if you don’t want to wait just go I’ll discharge you. She was threaten me saying keep your VOICE down gonna discharge you five months old baby absolutely disgusting discreet I’ll post her face all over in social media shame of her to be a doctor for babies
I am extremely grateful to the AAU staff who took such good care of my husband. We were so worried. They were vigilant kind respectful at all times of the day and night. They was good team work amongst them and you could tell they worked as a team. Thank you so much for making such a difficult time for us an easier one Thank you to the surgeons who took the time to explain the plan to us in detail. Very very grateful. Excellent hospital.
Absolutely outrageous place! I have seen a lot with my older children but that was the worst experience I have ever had. Turned up there with my 3 years old daughter on Sunday morning. Daughter was experiencing high fever 39-39.5, swollen throat and not eating for 3 days. After one hour we saw a nurse, who was as slow as a turtle typing with one finger on her computer... Nurse Editha examined my daughter and said she has a high fever. Then asked to wait. I have asked her can I have some paracetamol or Nurofen for my daughter as it is going to be probably a long wait for the doctor and she is poor. She answered 'it might take a while for nurse to bring paracetamol'. I gave up. I had my own. We were asked to wait outside. I gave my own paracetamol to my daughter. Daughter luckily went to sleep. 5 hours waiting- nothing. After 5 hours someone called us. It was another nurse who measured temperature and said my daughter has a high fever. This time he said he will bring paracetamol and asked us to sit in another room and doctor is going to see us soon. I needed to chase him twice for paracetamol and reminded him where we are. Took him 30 mins to bring paracetamol. The doctor turned up after 1 hour waiting. Doctor Joanna was the most incompetent doctor I have ever seen. She turned up without equipment, needed to leave the room twice to bring gloves an wooden stick. She did not examine my daughter well as daughter was hysterical and didn't want to open her mouth. Doctor Joanna refused to give antibiotic. She left us in a room and asked to wait. Daughter dropped to sleep again. I was sitting half an hour again and they sent two nurses who checked my daughter 's temperature, gave paracetamol and said that they are concerned because my daughter has a high fever which is not going away after paracetamol what a discovery! Second nurse asked for urine sample. Daughter got up and started crying. She did not want to do it. At this point I lost it. Ended up arguing with them and I left. I went to see my gp next day in the morning. It took him 5 minutes to examine my daughter and to diagnose tonsilities. He gave amoxicillin. This a&e is appalling, waste of time, staff is useless. They should perhaps work in a coffee shop. Less harm they will do.
NHS 111 sent out an ambulance to my mum this morning for a suspected stroke. The ambulance crew were amazing! They took us to Barnet a&e and I know this place gets it in the neck, but I wanted to say what an lovely experience we've had there today. The nurses and doctors were all so lovely friendly. Kept us up to speed with everything. Mum had blood works and a CT scan and was out of the department in an hour and half! Felt very satisfied with everything! Thank-you Barnet a&e and the ambulance service! Brilliant Job!
My son went in. Never used this hospital as We live in Shropshire. It was Quite a wait to get him in. Once in he had a minor op appendix everyone was so kind and just went the extra mile to look after us. Never ceases to amaze me just how thoughtful and kind the NHS staff are.
The organization at Barnet Hospital's delivery suite has been quite frustrating. About a month ago, they scheduled my C-section for August 5th, but then they changed it to August 6th. I was instructed to fast from midnight and call the hospital at 6 a.m. to find out when to come in. When I called at 6, they asked me to call back at 9 a.m. At 9, they said they would call me back, but I still haven't heard from them. It's very upsetting that they can't organize a proper schedule, leaving a pregnant woman starving and in pain.
Had to attend A&E yesterday. The receptionist was a white lady with lots of tattoos. She was helpful, patient and funny. The triage a Chinese lady typed at the speed of light and was very nice and professional. Afterwards, a Chinese gentleman took my bloods he was very cheerful and polite. Finally, I saw the doctor he was extremely knowledgeable and also had a fantastic manner. Lastly, I had a chat with two Indian Nurses one younger, one older as my cannula was taken out. They were also very funny, professional and cheerful. Although the waiting was long which I expect they all did an amazing job dealing with me. Thank you for the kindness and professional service I received.
I attended A&E yesterday referred by GP. I have found the experience very positive. Yes, they are busy and people have to wait, but everyone was very helpful, friendly and professional. I found the care I received to be excellent and can’t be grateful enough to all the wonderful people who were on shift yesterday.
I've had to come to Barnett A&E a few times, and Royal Free, of course its busy and it's what to be expected, it is for unplanned events!! I sit there with my mum for hours and I'm glad to do so just knowing that the nurses and doctors are literally THE BEST and always offer my mum, age 85 the very best of care and look after her so well. I'm so extremely grateful them. You can see the pressure is on them, no matter what time it is they still push on and try to do the best they can. I'm mean genuine care and thought and being so very thorough. They have made us feel safe which is to me priceless. Brought my mum back to health with a few long stays, I don't know what I'd do without them. Thank you so, so very much Barnett and Royal Free Hospital.
