A lovely relaxed campsite in the picturesque village. The site has a well stocked shop with local farm produce. We found two pubs both serving local ales.

Lovely little farm shop, perfect stop for walkers for a hot drink and all your essentials,  lots of lovely walks to take in the beautiful scenery. The bays are huge even the largest awnings fit with plenty of room left.

Well I thought it was great. Huge enclosed pitches. Fab walks around the fishing lakes and woods. Lovely shop on site selling local produce. Friendly locals. The Tickled Trout just up the road. Loved it.

No information given about the site on arrival.  No map or indication of where the facilities were.  Website states there is a newly completed shower and toilet block. This was not evident.  Showers cost £1 for 6 minutes, but we chose to use our own in the caravan as they did not look nice and were a long walk from our pitch.  The worst thing about the site, other than half of it resembling a car scrap yard, was the noise.  Our pitch was right next to the sewage works, which makes a VERY LOUD screeching, banging noise all night and all day.  Got no sleep over the 4 days we were there.  On the plus side, the dogs were welcome and the pitches themselves are huge.
