Lovely pub for food! We stopped here for dinner with our dog. Our dog loved it as staff and guests kept saying hello to him! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was really nice. Good choice on the menu! Good portion sizes! Next time we are up in the area we will pop in for food again!
Being local I can't attest to the accomodation, but the food was absolutely top draw. Creative menu, excellent ingredients, cooked to perfection. We had mains, a side, and desserts. They were all five star in terms of quality, cooking, ingredients, and taste. We eat out quite often at different places, and this was perhaps some of the nicest meals we've had in recent memory. Genuinely first class. Inside and outside looks very classy and tidy, and all the staff were excellent. I hope the management look after them well, especially the chefs/cooks as they served up top quality meals. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Good service decent food and if I was on a walking day out I'd definitely eat there again. As it stands I wouldn't drive out specifically to go there just for food. The drive up is windy single track lanes for much of it and the food would need to be spectacular to compensate for the journey.
Been here a few times now - absolutely beautiful, dog and child friendly, exceptional service! To top it off, the food and drink selection is amazing and very reasonable given the picturesque village surroundings. Highly recommend!
Lovely atmosphere, comfortable seating and the Steak and Ale Pie was rammed with meat! All reasonably priced given the location and surroundings as well. Will definitely return.Service: 5/5
Great beer 3 real ales food, staff and atmosphere. Dog and walker friendly with 3 real fires and a great place to sit outside on a summer afternoon. Local pub with local owners.

Absolutely we'll come back, we both enjoyed our visit. Thanks for a lovely end to a great walk up Pendle hill
Delicious food. Steak sandwich great. Toffee pudding n ice cream amazing Great service. Beautiful location and interior very cosy and welcoming. A hit!
Visited this afternoon and even though a great meal and considering the cost I was surprised and disappointed to be charged £2.50 for some extra gravy, that arrived when my daughter had almost finished her meal. I did raise my concerns when I paid the bill and should have refused to pay.
My visit was the first time in this pub and I loved it so much, I ended up staying the night! The landlord Nick, his lovely wife and their staff were so friendly. I genuinely love everything about this little gem and can’t wait to return. Ammy x
