Lovely place to relax and catch up with friends they did have flasks of hot water to make a cup of tea or coffee but they have stopped it for some reason what they should do to put a collection box to put some money in towards the milk and sugar and start having the cups of tea and coffee again
Massive thanks and appreciation to Damon for offering to help me at the library today with some issues i had. I cannot praise him enough for being so helpful and welcoming. He really goes above and beyond in his role as manager. Five star service.
Very helpful lady took her time to explain to my wife and I didn't feel like a dinosaur!!
Beautiful library in a former Baptist Chapel. Friendly, helpful Librarians.nStorytime, board games, Lego, colouring, knit/crochet group, Chess, Code Club and so many more. Meeting rooms, computers, lift access from Hanbury Road car park, toilets, level access from street level. Disabled toilet and accessible throughout.
Staff are very intrusive with regards to giving help with the computers, leaning over people and not understanding the meaning of personal space or privacy of content.,nHad 3, quite important items printed 2 of which are illegible and 1 item for photocopying which is very very faint and difficult to read. I paid 50p for my items with a £5 note and was given my change in 20&10p’s.
