Useless! My aunt who is in her 70's went to the branch to pay some money into my account and was told by the cashier she couldn't do this by just having my bank a/c details but that she needed a paying-in slip that had my name on it. My poor aunt went home and phoned me later to tell me. I cannot believe she was not offered a blank paying-in slip to complete at the time!? Being 'old school' my aunt thought she needed one of my own paying-in slips from the back of my cheque book that would have my name already printed on it. I haven't had to use a cheque book for years! Now she faces making another journey to this branch to ask for a blank paying-in slip, as instructed by me, to complete and pay the money in late! Absolute madness and awful customer service from this cashier!!

Service very slow. 10 / 15 minutes wait for service very normal. Maybe they could serve coffee and teas. Staff are pleasant but under resourced. They should introduce self paying in machines. That would speed it up. Clacton branch has them and it is much better.
