I wasn’t sure how to leave a review after a phone call to a staff from Barclays but he mentioned he’s in the Eastbourne branch. I spoke to Gary just now, his service was brilliant. He was so friendly and helped me to the best of his ability. I could really tell he was trying his best and he put in a lot of effort to help me. Thank you Gary!
It’s difficult having to queue for one cashier unable to do my transaction on the machine But there is a petite long blonde haired young lady who was abrupt and loud when asking what I needed . Later she spoke to the lady behind me in a very rude condescending manner still loud with a “if you don’t like it then go elsewhere “attitude . Zero customer skills , she needs a behind the scenes role

If you are a business customer Barclays is not for you. Went into branch as wait on phone line is well over an hour if you are lucky only to be told we don’t deal with business accounts here. Totally unacceptable and in the meantime my suppliers remain unpaid due to their mistakes.
Really NOT HAPPY with the way in which this bank is now being run, no counter service no customer service anymore and forced to use machines when we don't want to! Not efficiently run, and poor management, basically they just don't care. Very glad I do not have my current account here.
It's ok, bit understaffed, but no different to any other bank in that respect.
Such a shame that Barclays has closed almost all of their branches making it even harder for people. As a small business I often have large cheques to pay in as many of my customers are elderly and don't do online banking. Anything over £1000 can't be paid in remotely so I have to go into the branch. The opening times are difficult as I work from 8am till 5pm and parking costs me at least £3. Whatever happened to the personal service you used to get!?
Customer service closes at 3pm what a joke. Will be leaving this bank shortly. Halifax are much better customer service and pay for staff that help instead of computer that can not.
Barclays now supports the brexit which is harming local businesses like mine. I have cancelled my application for a bank account.
Wandering why Barclays is not open longer! Other banks in Eastbourne are open longer hours. I have cheques need cashing self employed but can't get to bank. My app won't work and I am running out of money! I work with elderly who don't do online banking and can't do balance transfers.
