Very poor customer service. Staff are miserable. Much nicer atmosphere at the barclays bank in Newcastle.

Opening times ridiculously bad this branch does not even open at all on Wednesday or Even half day on a Saturday. When you ask staff simple questions you get the usual "You can do this all online response" Not all customers want to go online to carry out there banking and prefer to just go into a branch and talk to an actual human. Online banking is just not straight forward in the slightest. Barclays please raise your game.

Where do I start? opening hours - pathetic, you can't talk to your local branch just an 0345 number. The staff are just robots now, what is the point of having a manager who can't make a decision? For gods sake Barclays wake up and start dealing with people as humans and not keypad / press 1 / press 3 /. Typical PLC nobody wants to own an issue or a problem. Just put a local number in for local people! you could deal with simple queries in half the time which makes you more efficient and keeps your customers happy. However like I said, nobody wants to make a decision so lets leave it as a shambles instead...
