Disappointing that the bank is closed on Wednesday Market Day when one would think it should be open for customers when visiting the market. This makes a second visit to Pontefract necessary and nonsensical. When mentioned to staff about not being open, they were condescending stating it is what it is!! As Barclays continue to close banks in various local towns thus making banking transactions difficult especially for elderly and infirm people, perhaps it is time to find a different bank. Whatever happened to quality customer support?
All staff very friendly & helpful!
Patronising and rude member of staff to “greet” you as you come in, was really upset with how I was spoken to, was only trying to get some help, and don’t think I’d visit this branch again for that reason. Customer service on the telephone were much more helpful and understanding
Good customer service, when needed, but mostly automated now.
Staff think wearing a mask just to cover your mouth, leaving your nose exposed is sufficient to keep this virus at bay. For those with glasses, use a visor.
The place to come if you need cash or want to deposit cash or even pay a bill
