Needed to change the name on my business account so I popped in and was asked to wait. Throughout the 10 minute wait I was updated three times and Maria got me sorted in minutes. Yes it would be lovely if it was open later however the service that was received was brilliant.
Visited for a simple KYC ID check for a third party. Had all my documents. 40 minute wait then 30+ minutes of faff as staff tried to work with broken systems to carry out what should be 5 minute job. I’m reminded why I don’t bank with Barclays.
My name is Jamie Radford. I am 17 and had to go in with my mum to the appointment. Barclays is a bad bank Disgusting Customer service. They do not care about customers. Staff are Extremely rude. Had an Appointment with Joanne Betteridge at 9:30 at 09/04/2024, Staff do not care about customers DEFINITELY don’t Bank with Barclays Absolutely Shocking Bad. I bank with Lloyd’s and staff are fantastic. My mum also thought the staff was disgraceful. Closing times also shocking!! Nothing good to say about this Crap Bank. Rubbish!!
Most businesses - open 9 and close at 5pm most employees - work from 9 and finish work at 5pm this bank - get stuffed guys were opening at half 9 so you cant even come in before work and closing at 3 so you cant come after. If you want to come in, better make sure you put a holiday day in or take unpaid leave. Possibly the most stupidest and service user unfriendly time they could possibly imagine. Useless bank.
Been with Barclays too long. I will be leaving Barclays because of them closing too many branches, forcing me to travel alot of miles to access my money without my card. Customer service don't care. They have no answer to why they are closing all of their branches... But we know it's to push a cashless society. Cash is KING!
10 people waiting inside the door for the attention of one girl, who, instead of quickly referring them on, was dealing with individual enquiries. Then having been directed upstairs for any transactions, another queue 8people waiting for 2 cashiers. There are things that cannot be done online Barclays. You need signage so people can quickly make their way to the appropriate area and person. The bell for good servicewas silent...
It's no point to have this location open it's better close every single one. Just popped in to try open one saving account and see which one will be better for me. When I get to the counter after 20 minutes in the queue they tell me they can't do anything there I have to do everything online and can only go in if I had a large amount of money to deposit there. I know I can do online, I just needed advice. Just really bad service that's it. Better to choose another bank that can help and advise and help when needed.
Exceptional customer service. Had some problems with the cash deposit and Debbie helped me arrange everything smoothly. Thank you Debbie!
Hi, I want to come in on weds 3rd to pay in a cheque over the counter for 3 grand. Is this OK as the online app is only OK upto 2 grand?
Opening a joint account online was not possible, so I queued to this local branch during their very reduced opening times. I was then told I would need an appointment fine, but the first one available was next month. The agenda for the following month was not open yet, so I would have had to come back in a few days, queue again and hope to get an appointment. One of the worst "computer says no" experiences I have ever had. I eventually opened a joint account in 10 minutes time with a digital-only competitor bank.
