My first experience of Meadow Park Care Home was when I visited my aunt with my Mam. I walked through the first set of doors expecting a very clinical and possibly cold atmosphere... I couldn't be more wrong!nIt was a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the senior who allowed us access seemed genuinely happy to see us. The home is clean and nicely decorated throughout, and although this is a massive change to independent living, it felt more like 'home' than 'care home' and after multiple visits it was obvious my aunt was well looked after and happy.nMoving forward, 8 months ago we found ourselves in a situation where my Mam required a placement into care, she was temporarily discharged from hospital to Meadow Park. She was made to feel safe, welcome and at ease from day 1 and all of her needs continue to be met on a daily basis as a now permanent resident. Any concerns have been dealt with immediately and her well-being is regularly monitored. The manager runs an open door policy and is very approachable. The seniors and all staff are very approachable, always happy to listen, advise and reassure when needed. The care staff, kitchen staff, household staff, activities and maintenance staff make up a fantastic team and their dynamic creates a happy, healthy environment for their residents.nMeals are carefully planned with nutrition in mind and meal times are protected to ensure residents enjoy their meals around the table in company, with no pressure if they experience an off day. Activities are very varied and always based around residents needs so are inclusive and fun. Care plans are entirely based around the individuals needs and the team are also very supportive to family and friends.nFor me, the team at Meadow Park made a difficult situation easier to deal with, and helped make my Mams transition from home to care home as unstressful and pleasant as possible for her. Plus having an Aunt here with completely different needs who is also very happy speaks volumes.nBased on my own personal experience with my Mam, I would have no hesitation in recommending Meadow Park to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones, as you will have peace of mind that they will be treat as an individual and their care needs will be met accordingly.
The staff are absolutely amazing, we are so pleased we choose this care home .nOur Mam has new friends, joining in with activities. All the staff are brilliant, make you feel at ease if your worried about anything. Our Mam has settled in no problem, definitely would recommend this care home 100% to anyone . We choose this 1 through recommendations & so pleased we did xx
We used Meadow Park Care Home for two weeks of respite care for my uncle Alex and from the moment we arrived it was warm and welcoming. The staff are incredibly friendly, kind, and genuinely caring — we honestly cannot fault them at all.nThe support offered to the family was fantastic and very reassuring during what can be a difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble and we always felt listened to and supported.nThank you to everyone at Meadow Park for providing such excellent care and compassion. We are truly grateful.nTracy

Since our grandad went to live at Meadow Park, he has returned to his old self. Julie and her staff look after him so well, ensuring that every aspect of his needs are met. He is so happy there and is always telling us how good the staff are. Nothing is ever a problem, regardless of what it is. The food always looks and smells delicious. I cannot praise Julie and her team highly enough for the care they provide.
