Since our grandad went to live at Meadow Park, he has returned to his old self. Julie and her staff look after him so well, ensuring that every aspect of his needs are met. He is so happy there and is always telling us how good the staff are. Nothing is ever a problem, regardless of what it is. The food always looks and smells delicious. I cannot praise Julie and her team highly enough for the care they provide.
Julie and all the staff have went above and beyond with the care and safeguarding of my parents at meadow Park care home. Julie the manager needs too be cloned, because all care homes need a manager like Julie. She treats her job like a vocation.
I visited Meadow Park today and was welcomed warmly into the home. The home itself was clean, tidy and comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, going out of their way to help me.nThe residents looked like they were enjoying an amazing full breakfast in a gorgeous dining room.
People who have loved ones at the care home need to be aware of a member of staff they have working there. My grandma is nearly 97 and has dementia cannot retain information. Last week whilst my mam was visiting my grandma a member of staff came into her room. Abruptly and in a nasty manner shouting to my grandma this is ridiculous the amount of pads you are using picked the bag up with the pads in shouting if they were really wet I wouldn’t be able to pick this bad up. Then bellowed to my mam “you will have to buy her some as she’s using far too many” Then started again saying to my 97 yr old grandma that is was disgusting she was making too much dirty laundry “look at all this” then said and tomorrow you will be complaining you don’t have any clean knickers. My worry is if she can speak to residents like that infront of their families what is she like when no one is around ??
I have visited Meadow Park numerous times & found the home to be clean, smelling nice with no odours & staff very friendly. There is always a nice atmosphere between staff, residents & their families & the activities they put on are always well organised. The menu they have on is always top notch & above all the residents are happy
