Today me and my best friend were lucky enough to stumble across barburrito in Nottingham as we just moved into the area we were looking for somewhere nice but not super fancy to have lunch. Honestly we were glad we did the food really surpassed my expectations and really loved the atmosphere in the restaurant. I was lucky to be served by Ropa who helped me understand the menu and made me a burrito that was SOOOO NICE, I e didn’t even get a photo because I devoured it but trust me it was honestly the best and so packed with flavor and supper filling !!! Will definitely be coming back again for some more highly reccomend
prayas The guy who served me was lovely as well as the lovely lady ag the counter. It was quite and the atmosphere is lovely and the food is just so amazing. Definitely give it a go!!! Especially if ypur a student as they do discounts Vegetarian options: I personally an a vegetarian and this is one of my favourite lunch go to’s.
Special Thank to Topa! She was the one who served us and had the most amazing energy, was really helpful as this was our first time. I heavily recommend the power bowl nachos and of course the burritos, you can pick and mix which i love Vegetarian options: Any food you order you can choose ypur own ingredients and there’s many veggie options, i highly recommend the shredded veggie chicken
Don’t order from here if you don’t eat meat. Last night my boyfriend ordered burritos for us as a treat however I found real chicken in my supposedly vegan burrito. As I ordered a vegan burrito I am really disappointed and actually feel sick knowing that there was such lack of care towards dietary requirements. On top of the issue of the chicken being there in the first place there was not clear enough labelling which further implies that there is a general lack of understanding or care at this restaurant. I have attached a picture of the chicken skin which alerted me to the fact that this had happened and we tried calling the restaurant multiple times with no answer. If I could give a lower rating I would, especially since this has happened to others as the reviews show and could cause serious harm for allergy sufferers. Furthermore as a prior line chef I know what procedures should have been in place to prevent this and the fact that it has happened more than once speaks volumes about the management of the kitchen. Be very careful about ordering from here as they clearly are not bothered about cross contamination. Vegetarian options: There are options however there is carelessness and lack of consideration for the consumer - don’t risk it.
This place used to be decent. I had a Mexican veg and guac classic with mexican rice, jalapeños and pickles. The whole thing was a wet, sloppy, tasteless mess. No seasoning in the veg, no spice to the rice and no taste to the beans. I love food and am not one for leaving things uneaten, but this burrito was so wet and so badly wrapped it literally fell apart after like 4 very difficult bites. It was impossible to eat and I'd have been upset if it had tasted of anything. But it really didn't. Vile.
Roba is particularly amazing at serving and explaining to customers. She took her time and gave us good experience. Will definitely come back. Thank you Dietary restrictions: No pork
Come often and always have really good service , staff is super friendly , love the different options of food. Vicky was lovely and even showed me a new option to get in my loaded bowl. Vibes are nice and chill can even come and get some work done.Food: 5/5
We’ve become regulars here ever since we came to Nottingham for uni they do a great student discount. This is hands down the best burrito on the high street so much better than the other places that shall not be named. They have great vegetarian/vegan options and way more filling choices. Every burrito tastes better than the last and I shall be coming here as often as I can before I graduate. Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetables as well as vegan chicken.
