"Bar Gansa manages to conjure up some of the elemental magic and spirit of Spain with its patriotic red and yellow colour schemes, well-worn wooden tables, terracotta pots and vibrant paintings of bullfights and flamenco.

It's a good-humoured and exceedingly friendly venue that happily accommodates all-comers, who perch on stools clustered around the bar or grab one of the rustic tables. Spanish breakfasts are worth knowing about, and the full menu focuses on tapas backed up a few more substantial offerings (paella valenciana or baked chicken breast with ham and Manchego cheese..).

Electrifying flamenco displays bring the place to its feet on Monday evenings, but there's music and entertainment of some kind most nights. The sangria flows and everyone has the best of times." - Mobile Food Guide

We had a brilliant night at Bar Gansa on Friday night. The staff were excellent - they were so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the cocktails were first class. It was exactly the vibe we wanted for a fun birthday night out. We can’t thank you enough! From the happy hour girls ; thank you!!! Vegetarian options: Devious vegetarian options
We've been here a couple of years ago and now again. The place is still a really cool place to be, wonderful tapas, great staff that is really lovely and cares about the guests...It started to rain while we were seated outside, and the waitress immediately asked us if we wanted to move inside and even fetched some bag for us that we had forgotten. The place was quite crowded in the early evening, and the kitchen was busy, but the staff remained co and still managed to get everything we ordered without us having to ask for it. Mussels in white wine sauce and the lamb skewers were delicious! I think we'll be back again soon to try the paella, as it looked really good! 5 stars from us!
This is genuinely one of the best spots in London! The staff are so much fun and the cocktails are great £5 in happy hour!. Found out about this spot a couple of weeks ago and have been back twice since. Amazing authentic food and such a good vibe, definitely recommend! Vegetarian options: Good veggie selection and tasty aubergine dishes!
The Italian waitress I think is new but her service was the best I’ve received in a very long time which is the reason for the four stars. Wine was pretty good for the lower range options. Food for me wasn’t bad but not amazing. My gf loved one of the dishes though. It was worth the money, worth returning for the service but maybe not for the food.
Good olives and there happy hour between 5 and 8pm. The wine with the happy hour was not great though red or white. Did not try the food. There is outdoor seating for nicer days.

I will admit upfront that I am not a fan of Spanish tapas. Other than some fabulous tapas bars in Barcelona, I have found tapas in Spain be indifferent at best. All I can say about this restaurant is that it the worst tapas I've ever had. The octopus was so tough as to be close to inedible. The calamari rings tasted like they came out of a frozen bag. The chicken was inedible. Even the usual reliable pepers went uneaten. Give this one a miss.
I simply love this place. The service is amazing, the drinks are delicious as well as the food. They have definetely gained a regular. Will recommend to all my friends!
Fantastic experience, wonderful service,delicious tapas ,we took advantage of the Happy Hour, great cocktails and Sangria, would recommend the mussels and lamb . Big shout out to the staff who were so attentive, and made my birthday a memorable occasion. Highly recommend Vegetarian options: Excellent Dietary restrictions: Staff extremely knowledgeable!!
