I went to university here to study Business and Computer Information Systems. Bangor Uni is a great place with great lecturers and lots of support from everybody to integrate into the community, to take part in activities and there is always something excited going on. The Student Union is doing an amazing job with the societies and clubs that are free to join, everybody is friendly and inclusive and apart from the usual Welsh weather, Bangor is gorgeous. I couldn't be happier and more satisfied for having chosen Bangor as my university and the place to learn and grow!
I am having a very disappointing experience with Bangor University. After paying my full year’s tuition fees, the university unexpectedly withdrew my visa. As an international student from Pakistan, paying £13,000 is a significant financial burden, and they could have informed me of this decision before I made the full payment.nnI reached out to the International Student Support for help, but they didn’t give me a single opportunity for resits. I was just about to complete my first year of bachelor’s studies, but now, I’m left feeling disheartened and deeply disappointed by how I’ve been treated.
Not suitable for international studentsnStaff with zero empathy and full of discrimination. Really bad experience… my life completely ruined and went through depression due to this University
