Amazing hotel, we where able to do early check in , the room was spacious and clean , amazing amenities for those needing accessibility. Dogs friendly our dogs got a lot of fuss. The dogs are allowed everywhere in the hotel except the restaurant but you can eat with them in the bar . The staff are friendly and helpful and gave us suggestions for places to visit / things to do . The food was great lots of vegan / veggie options, big potions.
Had a meal at the restaurant, which was lovely. The waitress was attentive and made sure we were served what was ordered. Be aware that you cannot add a tip for the waitress if paying by card.Service: 4/5
Had a lovely run to this Hotel with my husband and mother. Unfortunately had to wait an hour for our main courses. Food once it arrived was pretty average. Price of drink knocked off when bill paid at end but didn't make up for a pretty lackluster experience and won't be back again.Service: 1/5
Had Sunday lunch at the Bancar today. Food was just OK and service was painfully slow. Had to ask where our meals were after an hour of waiting. Lots of waitresses about but didn't seem to be doing much serving of food. Won't be eating there again I'm afraid.Service: 2/5
My work put me up in here mostly on a weekly basis clean enough wee hotel but requires a major revamp very dated and starting to look rather worn out and the beds could be doing with upgrading along with the bathroom facilities its bearable for the night but anymore than that i couldnt hack it. Location is a bit far out from shops/other restraunts although hotel served food but its not the best on par with the canteen in HMP or slightly below id rate it for there fry ups not being a blow hard about being an ex con just giving an honest review Rooms: Clean but in need of a major revamp Food & drinks: On average/below par to HMP food
