Typical small train station. Staff are helpful. Would have given another star if the public toilets were ever open. Unacceptable to have them permanently locked in this day and age. Have been advised that toilet locking is necessary because of drug addicts. Surely there is some way around this blight on our community?
This place outdated needing a revamp and never not conductors around when you need them.. leakage at entrance and puddle on the ground where you go to walk between wall.Toilets very smelly.Prices of trains and buses has gone up,Pitty the customer service could be better. Staff looks miserable. Trainslink should do a text service for your own safety to alert police and staff. Cause the security on trains not up to standard. Cameras won't stop you being harmed or mugged. And also when it's a busy time of year eg northwest, golf, they should have on more trains on. People has to stand and their are no available seats. Health and safety I worry about. And never no conductors on to get a ticket when you reach your destination you have to pay at the other end. Then your questioned why did you not get a ticket,in fear of them fining you and have to explain yourself. Lots chewing gum on ground where seats are.
Dirty, no cafe or even a simple coffee machine. Toilets were broken, train was delayed and to justify all the great work the train service are doing, they charged me a cheeky £8.20 to travel 40km. Rip off of the century
There's no available toilets in the place for the second year running. And the one end of the platform 1, smells like urine witch is absolutely disgusting. The waiting cabin on platform 1 is always closed as well. The personnel member only opens the one that's on platform 2. And if you ask them to open it or why it's closed they get all offended. The whole vibe in there is like you not even welcome there.
Excellent, train turned up and I got on. Can't ask for much more from a train station
Not somewhere I ever want to go to again
Premisses are not well maintained. We encountered gum and sweets en masse on the floor at the bus terminal. No weather protected waiting area. Information and ticket offices closes at 4.50 p.m. The bus terminal is definitely not a place to hang out and wait around. In case you are forced to do so, head to Adair Arms for coffee or tea. It is worth while and many buses stop just outside the hotel/restaurant.
Every toilet was locked and there was no staff on duty at the.Station on Sundays.
A standard train station - there is some protection from the weather here with a couple of benches available. There is a night gate for later trains and the platforms are joined by an underground passage way. There is a large park and ride though can be difficult to get parked in due to its narrow but long shape.
Needs more parking spaces, it's also a nightmare to get out onto the Galgorm road.
