I came in last week with my daughter hoping to find the perfect Prom Dress and was not disappointed. The ladies were extremely busy serving lots of other customers, but still found the time to be polite, professional and attentive. They are extremely knowledgable with an understanding of what style of dresses suit what body shape and made every lady they served feel like a Princess. We returned today to have my daughters dress fitted so that it can be altered to perfectly fit her figure,this extra service was included in the hire price and made us feel as though the dress was made exclusively for my daughter's shape. This type of quality service and professionalism is rarely found these days, thank you so much Ladies for your kind attention.

I visited Ballgowns with my granddaughter and we received excellent service.  We had help in choosing and suggesting what would suit her from a very wide selection of lovely dresses. The ladies were very helpful but not at all pushy and she was able to spend a lot of time trying on the dresses and enjoying the experience.  We would definitely recommend Ballgowns for a dress for that special occasion.

Although we eventually found a dress which was very nice we weren't pleased with how impolite some of the staff were. They weren't very helpful and they were extremely rude. The dresses in the shop were nice and organised but were quite pricey and we had to pay for the dress there and then but not even able to take it home on the day meaning another trip to Northampton. Understandably its a business and prom dresses aren't necessarily cheap but they perhaps didn't consider that not everyone can pay that much in bulk. We also weren't able to reserve a dress for a day or even an hour however they were able to quite simply ring up and order the same dress in. In conclusion we thought they were very rude and only cared about business and money!

My daughter used Ballgowns for her Prom this month, and the service that she/I received was wonderful. Both the ladies were amazing and they only had to look at my daughter to know what type of dress would suit her figure. My daughter looked amazing on the day.  Would definitely recommend Ballgowns.

Do not recommend at all!!!!! Extremely disappointed with the lack of service and loyalty.  Paid In full for a hire dress just prior to covid.  Kept in contact all through covid and they told me voucher would still be valid.  Despite the dress my daughter choose being brand new and adjusted to fit her they sold it without giving us first refusal when they re-opened after covid.  Went to visit and no new dresses/stock since we went before covid like I was assured so decided to wait until new stock arrived.  Phoned today and now gone against their word and refusing to accept my voucher to put towards a new dress.  No it’s not their fault but it’s not mine either.  surely we would have both been better off it they would accept as willing to put more towards buying a dress.  Would def not recommend due to lack of service/ loyalty - spent £150 and got absolutely nothing for it.

I visited ballgowns a few weeks ago and was very pleased with the service, I didn't have a clue what I was looking for but the ladies were able to find the perfect gown. The pricing was brilliant considering it had to be altered a fair bit but they were more than happy to fix it to me to make sure I will feel completely comfortable on the night. I am now thoroughly looking forward to prom and will definitely visit again if I have any future events.

Greeted by two lovely ladies shop full of dresses and accessories. Ladies knew instanly what dresses would suit. Tried on first dress. Loved it. Hired it with a clutch bag. My daughter-in-law also fell in love with first dress and bought it. A must for ballgowns.

Extremely rude old stuff couple of staff! Shoving dresses in face that were awful and shaking their heads at each other behind our backs. Place smelled fusty, dresses tatty looking and old fashioned. One member of staff in particular was very snappy and patronising.

Lovely Ladies, so helpful and knowledgeable.  Our daughter's Prom was cancelled and we wanted to still have a special day for her.  Ballgowns are currently closed due to Covid but we were able to collect the dress that we reserved in February. Thank you
