We didn’t go inside the showground however we walked around the outside. Absolutely stunning walk and beautiful views
Bakewell festival is a yearly event which is worth a visit but it’s not cheap. £5 to park the car then another £16 per person to enter the venue. Its mainly stalls to buy expensive gifts, mostly dog stalls or craft stalls. A couple of fairground rides. not many at all. Plenty of eateries, plenty of toilet facilities. I was surprised how many dogs were there but no water bowls dotted around. You have to buy your own water for your pets. I was a bit let down to be honest. A very expensive day out and little to see except spend at the stalls.
Bakewell is a beautiful place to visit. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and good and delicious food. I love Bakewell pudding and tarts.
Very expensive entry for what was there did not think it was worth 17 entry some nice shows n stalls but nothing extra special for price charged there was a parking charge on top of that for queues where so long was a good day but over priced on plus side dog friendly
Went to the Bakewell Country Festival and whilst the weather wasn't the best still had a great afternoon. Enjoyed all the entertainment in the centre ring and the kids enjoyed the fairground. Lots of stalls and food trucks too
