Probably the best coffee I have had this year so far, absolutely delicious in a very pleasant coffee shop. The young lady serving us was very polite, efficient and busy and the cakes look delicious. If you are in Witham I suggest you stop here for a coffee as it is much better than the big names in town.Food: 5/5
This is such a little gem of a coffee shop! Always receive a warm welcome. The coffee is fabulousso long Costa No comparison! Cakes are scrumptious. This is my new place to be. Well done Bakehouse Express for getting everything right.
We booked to bring my partners Nan here for Afternoon tea and have to say it was well worth what was paid. Huge scones, a variety of brownies, cake and coffee. The lady serving us was so friendly, everything was very tasty and the Biscoff latte was amazing. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
Visited this lovely coffee shop for the first time today. Met by the lovely Sam who looked after us very well. The shop was busy but we were served promptly. We all had coffee and cake. The coffee was of a high standard and most of the cakes are baked by the staff themselves. If you live or are in the area we recommend you give this coffee shop a try you will not be disappointed. I Can highly recommend the bakehouse Witham. The cakes are All home made and absolutely delicious. They also do the best sausage rolls ever! The staff are warm and welcoming, always greeting you by name with a Welcoming smile . A great place to meet friends for a coffee or to take the kids for one of their amazing milkshakes. A real asset to the high street.
Best coffee shop in the CM8 postcode. A great variety of fresh sweet treats and a seasonal menu for drinks to cater for non-coffee drinkers too. Lauren and her team are so friendly and welcoming - we visit at least once a week.
I had my MOT and waited out the whole thing in here. It was lovely. The staff were attentive and the food was really nice. There is very limited seating so to get the chance to sit in you will have to be pretty early. Overall well worth a visit.Food: 5/5
Nice and comfortable place, good coffe, good music and probably the best carrot cake I ever have eaten.
I often come here with my daughter after I pick her up from school. The cake is excellent, and my daughter always picks the same one. I've tried a few and they are all excellent. Very well made and tasty. The coffee is good as well. The waiting staff are very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is a pleasant laid back one. All in all a great place to drop in for some excellent cake and a nice bit of ambiance.
We love coming here! Lauren has a fab selection of drinks and cakes, and updates the menu according to the season which always gives us new options to try.Food: 5/5
