A really good local independent bakery with a stall on Freeman street market. Usually has a good selection of freshly baked bread and cakeson offer. They also prepare buns to order with a good variety of fillings to choose from. This is a proper old school baker,a husband and wife team and everything is made from scratch. I especially enjoy the bread from this stall all handmade with good wholesome ingredients,all hand baked on the market on market days. The owners are very friendly and happy to help, the stall is always kept clean and well presented. Being situated on the it has access to the facilities provided there,free parking,free ATM and free restrooms. Very reasonably priced produce. It's cash only here,only open on market days which are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. They have a 5***** food hygiene rating.
Home made goodness abound at this friendly bakers stall. Everything is made by the owner and all the things we've tried have been beautiful. Regularly get my bread there and quite often it is still warm from the oven. The chocolate cake is a particular favourite at our house.
