Decent stock and usually nice staff had one extremely rude staff member about 2 weeks ago. They also let people in without masks, when we asked a staff member why someone wasn't wearing one they said they can't do anything about it.
Good for a top up but very limited gluten free and loads of booze. Would prefer less choice on drink and more on food but that's just me. Lady serving was friendly and didn't have to queue inside or out
Useful local supermarket, with a decent range of branded and own brand goods, even including magazines, pet food and house cleaning products. Check out area is a little bit tight for space, with queuing back in to the aisle.
I use this Co-op regularly as I live quite nearby.. usually I like going to this store as their stuff is quite good. Today I went there in the evening after work, and found that most of the shelves were empty, as it was in every other stores during these times. At the cashier's, I mentioned this to her as a way of making conversation. She didn't reply to me so I thought she hadn't heard me. After I was done paying she said "Even though the shelves are empty people still keep stocking up. You know there's nothing here, then why do you keep coming". I felt this was very rude of her and felt really bad that she was implying I was in the store stocking up on what I could while everything was running out.
Gone from well stocked medium store to larger but less well stocked one. Seems limited in some areas now. Has better till layout, but the automated ones are very temperamental. Limited parking made worse buy limited parking ability of some customers.
Even though this is a local store the selection of products is surprising and I was able to find everything that I needed. The staff were very helpful and friendly also.
Since it has been refurbished it is much better in here, although it can get busy in the car park at peak times, so advise going out of peak times or walking here if possible, as there is no other other local parking apart from maybe 15 car parking spaces outside which are also used by other local shops on this parade. The choice of stock is good and the opening times are ideal for finding Calpol late at night when the kids are playing up!
Excellent choice of foods, high quality, and a great value. Really surprised to find a good number of Gluten Free foods. Highly recommended.
This store seems very cramped. Trying to manoeuvre a pram around with cages in the Isles was not ideal the isles are narrow. Good amount of self checkouts shame they are all card payment only, who wants to queue at a manned desk when you only have a little shopping.
Just been into the store. There is absolutely no regard for social distancing whatsoever. Staff are not wearing face masks and are allowing people in the store without a mask which puts the whole community at risk. AVOID THIS SHOP. Appallingly managed given the circumstances!....
