We could not recommend Bake it special more! Lisa is an absolute dream to deal with. We stumbled across her Facebook page while wedding planning and we were so grateful to have found her. The booking process was so easy and we were given a free cake sample voucher to order some sample flavours to try. She offers such a huge range of flavours to choose from and the cake samples tasted delicious! Her attention to detail is incredible. We sent over some pictures of the flowers we would like and she couldn’t source them so made them herself. Lisa also made our wedding favours which doubled up as place names which were shortbread biscuits. She was so accommodating with a couple of name changes and they looked so good on the tables. Our wedding cake looked and tasted amazing and we cannot thank you enough! Love from the new Mr & Mrs Smith

Absolutely gorgeous wedding cake - it truly was a focal point of our day. We loved every flavour and all of our guests commented on how delicious the cake was. Everyone took some home to enjoy later as well it made it as far as Germany!.  Contact with Lisa was always friendly, prompt and understanding. The flower decoration was coordinated with the florists and the look I was hoping to achieve was delivered. Thank you so much, Lisa, and I'll make sure to recommend you to anyone who needs an amazing cake in the future.

Lisa did a wonderful job of bringing our cake design to life. We requested vintage maps for the first and third tier and tropical flowers to match our wedding design. The sugar flowers were expertly crafted and we had so many compliments for the cake.  But not only did it look fantastic, it tasted amazing too. We had a white chocolate and raspberry tier, a carrot tier, a lemon tier and a chocolate orange tier.  Thanks again Lisa. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much Lisa for our wedding cake! During the various lockdowns Lisa made tasting so easy. Such fun receiving our tasting box! The whole process was seamless, set up was perfect and we our guests loved the cake. So glad we managed to book Bake it Special!

Lisa was super helpful and patient with us making us quite possibly the most amazing cakes for our wedding. We ordered 130 cake pops for 40 guests and we only had like 20 left! Everyone said how delicious they were and that doesn’t even cover the big cake. Now I was selfish and the big cake was all mine and it was the best marble cake I had ever eaten! I have ordered another for next year for our anniversary/my birthday [as the same month]… might become a reoccurring order!! Thank you so much Lisa for your delicious work. It was perfect!

I strongly recommend anybody looking for a wedding cake or favours to think twice before using Bake It Special or Lisa, I had a very horrible experience where none of my 400 favours were delivered and the cake I received on my wedding was not what I ordered! I booked my slot and paid all money upfront in advance and complied with all of Lisa’s requests, she reassured me on many occasions that she could fulfil my order but she really let me down, she admitted fault over text message but soon after posted on Facebook blaming my wedding venue for the error in regards to the wedding favours, when I confronted her she denied this and said her “friend” made the post and she will no longer allow her friend to manage her Facebook account, I did receive a full refund but it does not change the fact what I ordered and paid for was not delivered on the day. Lisa also didn’t notify me before the wedding she was unable to deliver when she first found out which would have saved a lot of hassle on the wedding day, instead she chose to ignore my family members and event coordinators calls. If you check the reviews on Facebook another bride had a similar experience to mine where now the venue has banned use of bake it special! I have been blocked on Instagram and Facebook by Lisa herself. Please please be careful when booking as I wouldn’t want anybody else to experience the gutting feeling I felt on my wedding day, especially as this is the second time this has happened to a bride.

Had the most amazing cake ever, everyone who had a piece loved it, will definitely use again and recommend to family and friends, great value for money definitely 11/10 from me
