Had a fantastic trip to the Opticians. All the staff at Bailey Eyecare were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. My spectacles are amazing. The lady helping to choose frames really knew what suited me. She also advised me to have a special coating on my lenses to help with night driving . It gets a huge thumbs up and makes night driving so much more comfortable. I will be taking my family to Bailey Eyecare from now on for their eyecare

Had a thorough eye examination. The Optician on duty explained everything clearly. Nice friendly environment too.

Rude and audacious! Visited for my eye test, a bit more expensive than some places but happy to pay more to support a local independent. The test was fine, had a look at their quite small range of glasses but couldn't find anything I really liked. Having a look around I've found a pair online. Whilst I was ordering them I discovered I needed my pupil distance measurement, the online company told me my optician should be able to tell me this very easily so I went back to Bailey and was told it would cost me £50 even though they had already taken the measurement after the test I've already paid for, which cost £35. To add insult injury the optician was very rude and gave me a lecture about buying glasses online, and in fact she seemed to take enjoyment from disparaging online glasses. She made all kinds of assumptions about my financial position assuming I was just on the hunt for cheap glasses when all I wanted was a pair that really suited me and it just happened I found them online. I wouldn't expect to be treated like this in any other industry, and I certainly will not be visiting this optician again. Went to another place in town where everyone was friendly and helpful and was able to give me the measurement I needed for a very small fee even though I wasn't a customer there.
