Excellent nature reserve, only downside is the amount of dog walkers that don't pick up or take their bags of poo. Tree's aren't there to hang bags from. This can spoil natural spots if beauty.

Good in winter .tarmac paths plenty of bins. Good car parking. Plenty of choice for walks.

Very pleasant place. But.... needs decent maps either on line or at the entrances and car park.

Great for walking. And you like fishing you can have a good time just relaxing and fishing.

Peaceful place for a wonder with the dog. Make sure you venture off the gravel track!

Very quiet destination, great for a dog walk, with several inclines to exercise the legs. One surfaced path straight through the park but not a loop. Crossed by the Leicestershire round, so various routes to take, away from the central, hard path.

Met a friend for a ride.
